Eligibility 

Before proceeding with the application, interested applicants must meet the eligibility of the fellowship program.

  • The applicants must have a university degree.
  • Must possess a strong track record in the research fields.
  • Must be able to reside in Germany for five to six months to conduct their research.
  • Must be under the age of 35 at the time of their application.
  • Must be an international student.

Application Process

After checking the eligibility for the scholarship, the students must follow the application process of the fellowship program and complete all the necessary documents to be able to be considered for the awards.

Upon submission of the application, the Einstein Forum will be acknowledging a receipt of the applicant’s submission, and the interview process will begin by June, and release of the results will be at the end of July.

In case, the application has been rejected the applicants may be able to reapply for the next opening year as long as they still meet the eligibility for the award and a new proposed project.

Required Documents 

As part of the application process, the students must complete and submit the following:

  • CV
  • The project proposal must be on two pages
  • Two letters of recommendation

Note: Your proposed project should not be essential for your paper or proposition, and the application records should be in English. In any case, there are no restrictions on the task you might propose as long as you can defend your thought as fascinating, unique, and attainable during the fellowship period. It is important to consider whether the facilities accessible to you would reasonably permit you to seek after your project.

The proposed project from previous work must be able to demonstrate that you have obtained a master’s thesis, books published an essay or any relevant work related to your project. A significant thought is important for the proposed projects.

There are no additional requirements for the English Language, the foundation will be based on the submitted application as it will reflect the applicant’s communication skills.
