Scholarship Eligibility

Before proceeding with the application the students must meet the eligibility criteria of the scholarship:

Must be an international students who can demonstrate their academic progress.
Must have a good communication skills in oral and written English.
Must be holding a bachelors degree for the Masters degree applicants and Masters Degree holder for the PhD Degree applicants.

Renewal of the Awards Processing

Scholarships awarded annually: Due to the annual budget validity of ICETEX, scholarships are granted on a yearly basis. Renewal requirement for programs longer than 12 months: Scholarship recipients attending academic programs that exceed 12 months must request renewal from ICETEX each year to continue their studies.

Compliance with ICETEX requirements for renewal: The renewal request is subject to meeting specific requirements established by ICETEX, including:

Renewal request letter.
Certificate of grades with an accumulated average of the program (minimum of 4.0/5.0).
Experience report signed by the tutor or director of the academic program.
Certificate from the University confirming current enrollment and the duration of the ongoing academic program.
