What is the BH Futures Foundation? BH Futures Foundation looks to the next generation of student leaders in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Students in Bosnia and Herzegovina can become involved with this foundation in a number of ways, one being the fact that a Bosnia and Herzegovina student can apply as a student. This way they can become eligible to apply for the scholarship that they release each year.
This foundation does focus on science technologies the most that are shared throughout the original website page. Indicating that science and technology students will be the highest priority choice when students are picked to receive the full scholarship award.

Eligibility
- Only citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina can apply and are deemed eligible for the BH Futures Foundation Scholarship.
- Students must be a recent graduates of high school.
- Students will need to follow a number of recipient guidelines after they become a winner of this scholarship.
- Eligible students who are interested in and studying technology or natural science are deemed a high priority.
- University students who are in their first year are eligible to apply.
- Students that are in college must be studying one of these subjects to be considered eligible: mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, manufacturing, computer sciences or information technology.
- Part-time students are not eligible, only full-time college students.
- Candidates must be able to speak or on a level of conversational English. This means there is a English requirement upon entering the scholarship application.
- The scholarship application form must be filled out in English.
Requirements
The first requirement is that the student applying is a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina. International students are not permitted to apply for this scholarship option.
How to Apply
It is best if the students become a part of the BH Future’s Foundation member this also allows the student a better chance to apply to many available scholarships that are offered throughout the year.
These are the items needed to apply correctly:
- Application form
- At least 1 full page dedicated to a motivational letter written by the student applying
- A 1 minute video presentation will be needed
- There is a personality test that will need to be taken to show the students level of leadership skills
Reward – Extra Benefits
This scholarship is a full-tuition coverage scholarship for any awarded students.
After the student is awarded, they will need to stay on top of their grade performance. This means their grades must be at all times above 85%.
Award winners will need to volunteer up to 100 hours minimum, where at least 50 of those hours must be volunteered with the BH Future Foundation.
There is a need to attend monthly workshops, at least all of them must be attended.
Students will need to participate in the Passion Project preparation each year.
Student Visa
No student visa is required since this scholarship is only for Bosnia and Herzegovina citizens. International students cannot apply for this opportunity.
Open Submission Window Time Frame
There is an official open submission window time date that is set for July 15, 2023. After the open submission window is opened, there is 15 days to enter all of their scholarship application information. After that there is a set scholarship interview day where students who sent in an application are deemed ready to interview on August 8-15, 2023.
Deadline Time Line
There is an official deadline date for July 31, 2023. This means there is around 15 days for the actual open scholarship window to be open for every student interested to send in their scholarship application with all of the needed items attached.
The winners of this scholarship will be announced on August 22, 2023. This is the only date where winners are announced.
After that their is a scholar winner introduction weekend that is set for September 3-4, 2023.
Annual or Renewable Scholarship Options
This is an annual scholarship that looks for students that are citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina to apply each year. This scholarship does have renewable properties that will be addressed the following academic year.
