Eligibility
- The only official way to apply for this scholarship is to be a student who applied for admission to Uppsala University. This way students will automatically be entered into the scholarship application open window.
- This scholarships is specifically for fee-paying international students.
- Must be a student who is pursuing a Bachelor’s or their Master’s degree to qualify for this scholarship.
- For Uppsala’s prospective student scholarships this is open for all citizens of a country outside of the European Union (EU)/European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland.
Requirements
This scholarship and other scholarship from Uppsala are only for on-campus programs based in Uppsala or on Gotland, and for progrms mainly taught at Uppsala University.
If a students tries to win a Master’s Program scholarship before they have completed their Bachelor’s degree they cannot be awarded a scholarship for the Master’s programs in Implementation, Transformative Learning and Sustainability, Religion in Peace and Conflict, Turkic Studies, Biology Genetic and Molecular Plant Science, Biology NABiS Nordic Master in Biodiversity and Systematics, or the Joint Nordic Master’s Program in Environmental Law.
How to Apply
The only true way to apply is by applying as a first-year student to attended Uppsala University. All potential applications will have their admissions critic to see who fits with the criteria for the scholarship listed.
Students who wish to study here and be entered into the scholarship drawing, will need to fill out an application and submit it between October 18, 2021 and January 17, 2022.
The program that a student chooses at Uppsala University must be ranked as that students first choice school.
To apply for our scholarships, you need to submit an online application form during the scholarship application period, there will be an open submissions webpage portal on the website provided.
Since students will be using their application of admissions as their scholarship information, no extra documents will be needed to submit.
Reward
A student’s entire tuition plus any hidden fees will be covered by the institution. This scholarship is for international students who will not need to pay anything out of pocket. Which equals to about SEK 80,000 per year.
Deadline
The application period for scholarships provided by Uppsala University for prospective students is from January 18, 2022 to February 1, 2022.
The deadline is in (Central European Time) February 1, 2022. If an United State student this means looking at the military time before 12 A.M. strikes.
Annual
This is a by semester scholarship which means the university has two open windows throughout the year where students can apply. As for any students who apply in 2022, they can expect to attend the university on this scholarship for the 2023 school year.
