The United World’s College for Tajikistan will reopen for selection in 2024 which will cover the scholarship winners for the years 2025-2027. This opportunity has a selection process since it is only open for submission every other second year.

This is not a complete list however, students can browse what the connection schools and college are located throughout the world via a map that is available on the homepage original website. From there different students can possible transfer to go study at a different location if they wish.
Eligibility
- All applicants interested will need to be 16 years or older when they send in their admissions form. That means the student cannot be 15 years old and turn 16 years afterward.
- A general interest and understanding of the English language as well as fluency to a basic level extent. Students do not have to know a lot of English but they should at least be able to communicate.
- Applicants are expected to show their great academic grades or records. Merit does count with this scholarship.
- Individuals must be in their last year (11th year) when they send in an application.
- High-priority students will be those that have never been abroad before.
Requirements
Students will need to go through the guidelines and follow the steps to properly apply. That one the students will not miss any information that needs to be applied to the application form. The form has a title name that is mentioned as UWC Tajikistan National Committee Application. That way the students will not miss what the form title happens to be.
This is a highly regarded scholarship opportunity for high school students. It’s a chance for someone to go aboard to Tajikistan and learn about the culture and even learn a new language in the country of it’s origin.
How to Apply
While the 2022-2024 application process is currently closed, there will be a re-start to accepting applications in 2024. Which means students will have to figure out if they qualify.
There is a link that will take the student to the UWC Tajikistan National Committee Application form. This link will be clicked and afterwards the student can begin filling out their information.
At the time students do have time to make sure there grades are excellent and continue to strive for academic excellence until 2024.
Reward – Extra Benefits
The reward is a full paid trip and tuition covered by the institution at Tajikistan. There is more that may be covered such as health insurance, accommodation, host family stipend, and monthly allowance for the students.
The entire information will be given in a packet sent to the student that has become a recipient of this option. Only a few students are chosen throughout the 2 year waiting process. This gives students the time to pre-plan and receive their student visa before arriving in Tajikistan.
Student Visa
International students will need a student visa. However, it is not stated that this is for United States citizens, this does look like this is for Tajikistan citizens. However, this may be taken care of through the foundation that has organized this possibility. With that in mind students will need a parental or guardian figure to sign a few forms.
Open Submission Window Time Frame
Applications will reopen on December 21, 2023. This is considered an early register for this application. Students can go to the Facebook link that is located on the original homepage to find any news or new information concerning the deadline and open submissions window time frame.
Deadline Time Line
The deadline time frame will be the date of January 15, 2024. This is the current 2022 closing date so the 2024 date will most likely be the same. If this information changes students will be able to find out via the organization sending out an email and notifying all of the students that have been chosen.
Annual or Renewable Scholarship Options
This is an annual scholarship that lasts for the given time frame or how long the research project needs to be conducted. This is not a renewable scholarship research option.
