The Tallinn University invites applications for the Specialty Scholarship program which will be provided to Interested applicants who are willing to undergo a degree program at the Institution. This application is for Doctoral degree students.

ABOUT TU

Tallinn University is the largest university of humanities in Tallinn and the third biggest public university in Estonia. It is acknowledged both locally and internationally for its role as a center for science and education. We have around 7500 students (with 9,5% of them international), and over 800 employees, including over 400 researchers and lecturers.

Tallinn University offers a number of opportunities for international students from around the world to apply for our English-based degree programs, exchange studies, and regular courses. There are 131 programs to choose from, including 6 BA, 12 MA, and 14 Ph.D. programs taught English.

In addition, the International Tallinn Summer School with about 300 participants from 50 countries every year offers a 3-week program in July, which includes courses in various fields presented by the best Estonian and foreign internationally acclaimed academics, opinion leaders, and intellectuals. A similar program, however with fewer courses is also offered in January at Tallinn Winter School.

The Excellent Scholarships At Tallinn University  Eligibility:

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Eligible Countries: International students are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • Applicants must be citizens of Estonia or residing in Estonia on the basis of a long-term or temporary residence permit or permanent or temporary right of residence or staying in Estonia on the basis of a visa, or visa-free in the cases where a treaty for visa-free travel has been established or in the case of waiver of the visa requirements and have applied for a temporary residence permit for studies
  • Applicants must have matriculated between the academic years 2015/2016 and 2019/2020
  • Applicants must be full-time students
