The University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) is a scholarship for excellent students from both the EU/EEA and non-EU/EEA countries, applying for a postgraduate program(MSc) at the University of Twente.

The University of Twente offers comprehensive and contemporary degree courses. UT is a leader in implementing educational reforms, designed, of course, according to the new bachelor’s/master’s structure. Students have ample opportunity to combine a variety of educational activities.

The scholarship is being taken at the University of Twente Holland.

Eligible Nationalities: 

The University Twente Scholarship is intended for EU/EEA students.

Scholarship Benefits:

€3,000 – €25,000 for one year (approximately 50 scholarships available). If you have applied for a two-year program, be sure to read the information on two-year programs of study below.

Please note: This scholarship is intended as compensation for study-related costs. It is up to the scholarship students to decide how to spend the money. No costs (for example, tuition fees) will be paid on your behalf.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a University Twente Scholarship, you must meet all the requirements below:

  • Application for a UT Scholarship is a separate procedure from applying to a course at the University of Twente. Regardless of funding, you will first need to obtain an admission letter.
  • You have been admitted (provisionally) to one of UT’s qualifying graduate programs beginning in the 2023 academic year (September). Please note: After you complete your application, it may take up to 8 weeks before you receive your results.
  • You must have a student number.
  • You have not graduated from a UT graduate program;
  • You meet the conditions for obtaining an entry visa for the Netherlands (if applicable);
  • You meet the requirements of the General English test IELTS 6.5 Academic (or TOEFL iBT 90) and an additional 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) in the Speaking Skills sublevel
  • You are not eligible for a Dutch study scholarship;
  • The Twente University Scholarship is a scholarship for excellent students. This usually means that you are in the top 5 to 10 percent of your class.

Application Method

‣ UT Scholarship application mode is online. To apply for this scholarship, you must already be admitted (provisionally) to one of the qualifying Master’s programs.
