Trinity College is a university in Dublin, Ireland. Grattan Scholarships: The University of Dublin is presently seeking applications for Grattan Scholarships from interested and outstanding PhD applicants. These awards are divided into two categories based on the research topics. Each scholarship is completely financed for four years, including tuition and a €20,000 annual stipend. Students will obtain valuable research and teaching experience, which will prepare them to become future academic leaders. Grattan Scholars are chosen not only for their academic accomplishments, but also for their dedication to teaching and desire to better society through research and education. During the teaching term, Grattan Scholars are required to participate in teaching-related activities for a maximum of six hours per week.

“Closing the Gender Gap in African Agriculture: The Role of Soft Skills” and “Big Data Revolution: Discovering New Skills and Applications in Economics” are the themes for the Grattan Scholarships in 2022.

Eligibility for Scholarship

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Trinity College Dublin Grattan Scholarship:

  1. Applicants must be international students studying in the United States.
  2. Applicants must be doctoral students.
  3. Applicants must have a certificate of master’s degree.
  4. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent certificate.
  5. Applicants must be able to start a full-time program immediately.
  6. Applicants must be willing to collaborate with their supervisors on a research project.
