The Dublin City University has been around since 1975, although students were not officially enrolled in the higher education institution until the year 1980. Since the 2020 census, there were already over 80,000 student alumni that had chosen Dublin City University as their 4-year college and graduated.

The average student population that is in attendance is typically 17,000 per annual year.

Luckily enough students will find that there are many campuses. Some of them are:

  • St. Clare’s Sport Campus

There are quite a few facilities on campus that include general groceries, shopping, and tech with textbooks.

This is a study/exchange student scholarship that has no subject field priority. This means students can be working on any Master’s program. With this international scholarship being available to non-EU citizen students, this allows students to receive a great value scholarship to cover excess tuition fees that tend to pop up.

Eligibility

  • The students applying must be registered non-EU citizens. EU citizens are deemed not applicable for this opportunity.
  • Only 1 Full year, Master’s programs are eligible for this option.
  • The Master’s programs must be full-time courses only. No part-time courses are applicable.
  • For international students only.

Requirements

The main requirement that students will see on the original university website is that students must be entering their Master’s program degree. That means students cannot be undergraduates, bachelor level or postgraduate level students.

Also, if students are non-EU citizens that have already self funded their tuition or fully paid off their tuition this scholarship is not for them. This is a financial-need scholarship for new international exchange students.

How to Apply

The best way to apply is to apply for a student study abroad opportunity at the Dublin City University or as an exchange student.

There is a dedicated section for international students only. This section on the original website link that is attached to this article, shows students what they need to do before arriving and after arriving in Ireland.

There are a number of steps that international students can follow and luckily, there is a step-by-step guideline that can be followed very easily. If a student has any questions that can call the main phone that is given in the contact section.

Reward – Extra Benefits

The total reward for this scholarship is a €2000 value worth that will cover part of the tuition costs. It is expected to be guaranteed this amount that the student attends at least one event called the ‘International Student Ambassadorial.’

Deadline Time Line

The deadline date has been scheduled for July 1, 2023. This is the only referenced deadline date available on the Dublin City University website. However, students could check with the independent courses they are taking to see if their is an extended deadline date timeline.

Open Submission Window Time Frame

The open submission window time frame is from the early Spring or late March until July 1, 2023. Technically this is also the admission part for international exchange or study abroad students.

Annual or Renewable Scholarship Options

Scholarships are considered annual. This is a one off scholarship which means it is not renewable.

Here at Pick a Scholarship we offer a full range scholarship database for all students looking for varying degree levels. While we provide exact information for each scholarship application and when the deadlines/open submission windows are held. We offer a contact section on each post where the admissions of the university or the director of a private sponsor can be reached to give more information or details.

All applicants should consult the contact webpage that is in the contact section of this page, if a question has not been answered. Beforehand check the university’s FAQs page to see if anything can be answered right away.

All students should check with the university website about any delays or changes to the open submission window or deadline time frame. This is the best way to see if anything needs to be reviewed or changed before submitting their application.

Anyone can sign up to receive a university website newsletter to stay updated on the latest information.
Any student that is unsure about the rules and guidelines that are meant to be followed by the recipient should consult the website link provided. Anyone looking for more information that is not found on the website should contact the email address.
We also suggest that all applicants read through the information guideline page that is available through the original scholarship link. This way, the individual can navigate the website correctly and identify the real scholarship online application. So far there has been no mention of any delays for this opportunity or any cancellations.
Each foundation has its own set of guidelines that should be followed as well to maintain a scholarship for its full duration. Otherwise, contact the phone number to ask any other unrelated questions that are not currently answered.
