Vienna University of Technology offers a scholarship for outstanding international students who can demonstrate their leadership and academic achievements. The Sustainable Future Scholarship will be awarded to two international students for the academic year of 2023-2024.

The scholarship will be amounting to up to €14,500 and will be awarded to two international students for the fall semester of 2023. The applicants for this scholarship award must meet the English Language Proficiency and the academic qualifications required by the university.

Scholarship Eligibility 

Interested international students must be able to meet the eligibility requirements of the scholarship before proceeding with the application process.

  • International students are encouraged to apply for the scholarship.
  • The students must meet the English language skills required for the scholarship and admission at the Vienna University of technology.
  • An internationally recognized academic degree will be accepted.
  • Must have good academic records and have the potential to complete their degree at the university.

Language Requirements 

International students whose first language is not English language are required to meet the language skills of the university. 1st degree in English, CPE, TOEFL, and IELTS proficiency test scores.

  • IELTS minimum score of 7.0
  • TOEFL minimum score of 627 points in writing, 263 in computer base and 106 points in internet based.

Application Process 

The application for the scholarship award can be accessed in an online portal provided by the university.

All applications must be submitted before the deadline for application, late and incomplete applications will not be considered and will be automatically rejected by the scholarship panel. However, the scholarship will be offered annually, all applicants can re-apply for the next semester’s scholarship offered.

Scholarship Application Deadline 

The deadline to complete and submit the application is until March 15, 2023. All late and incomplete applications will not be considered and will be automatically rejected by the scholarship panel.

Scholarship Award 

Two scholarship will be awarded for the academic year of 2023-2024, the successful candidates will be receiving an award amounting to up to €14,500.

The scholarship duration is up to four semester, full-time. Keep in mind that the beneficiary of the award must read and agreed to the terms and conditions applied to the scholarship.
