Webster Vienna Private University in Austria is now accepting scholarship applications for the academic year 2022-203 for new undergraduate and graduate students. The university wants to encourage students who can demonstrate their academic excellence and can prove their financial needs to further their higher education.
New Student Scholarship
To help ease the financial barriers that every higher education student are facing, Webster Vienna wants to take into consideration the student’s finances by offering scholarships for the newly admitted students in undergraduate and graduate degree.
The university knows that when making academic decisions, finances is vital. To bring the students to their studies and give them a better and brighter future, they are assisting the outstanding students who are willing to further their education and achieve their career goals.
By encouraging the newly admitted students, the scholarship will be based on their academic merits, English proficiency, and financial needs. The scholarship with a total value of up to €10,000 to cover their tuition fees will be awarded to the deserving undergraduate and graduate students. Scholarship value will be based on the categories of the scholarship criteria.

Eligibility
To begin the application, students must meet the following eligibility for the scholarship.
- Local and International students are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Must show good academic records.
- Good communication skills in oral and written English.
- Be admitted to a full-time degree program at the university.
- Commencing undergraduate or graduate program.
- The awards of the scholarship will be based on the student’s eligibility and criteria.
- A minimum grade of 3.0.
Application Process
The Webster Vienna Private University encourages all students who are admitted to the university and have good academic achievements to apply for the scholarship. For the fall of 2022, the newly accepted students may be able to request a scholarship application from the scholarship coordinator or admission department.
The application will be asking the students to upload the following documents, which the university recommends be prepared before starting the application:
- The acceptance letter proves that you have been admitted to a full-time degree at Webster Vienna Private University.
- Motivation Letter, financial documents which are written by the student that can explain their financial needs, background, and how the scholarship can help you financially. Students can also include why they are deserving to receive the scholarship award.
- Financial documents must be translated to English, students can submit their net earnings, payslips, employer or pensions. The amount must be in euros, if the amount is not in euros, students must convert them and indicate the rate used.
- Bank statements will not be accepted, if the student is self-employed, they can submit an official letter that states their earnings and company information.
Essay
An original essay in English on one of the two topics below:

The scholarship award is a partial scholarship only, the student must be able to pay their remaining tuition fees. Scholarship awards are renewable for up to 4 years for undergraduate degree students and a maximum of 2 years for graduate students.
The awardee must maintain their GPA for the renewal of the scholarship.
Scholarship Deadline
The deadline to submit the scholarship application is until May 31, 2022.
