About the Program 

The two-month fellowship program invites eligible candidates for a program consisting of network events, seminars, and workshops and yes it is free of charge! The fellowship program will begin in May 2023.

There is no age limit, applications can be presented by people from 18 years old. The institute invites applications from coders and developers from the Worldwide North and Worldwide South, in addition to activists, lawyers, sociologists, artists, and philosophers.

Eligibility 

The program is open to applicants who can meet the basic requirements of the program:

  • The fellowship encouraged candidates who are in the field of  Developers or Coders, Lawyers, Sociologists, Artists, Philosophers, and Activists.
  • The fellowship program has no age limits.
  • Applicants whose 18 years old at the time of the application are also encouraged to apply.

Application Process

  • The application can be completed in an online portal provided by the Institute.
  • Personal information must be completed including contact information.
  • The contact information will be used for the application notification.
  • Keep in mind that the application may require additional materials to support your fellowship application.
  • Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.

Important Note 

A jury will choose 80 (eighty) members from all applications. From these, they will assemble as different groups as could be expected. Because of the different time regions, they will likely work in two groups of 40 individuals each. The online meetings during the fellowship program will take place about two times every week for 2 hours each. Successful applicants will be notified at the end of March, further details will also be announced.

Application Deadline 

The deadline to complete and submit the application is until March 20, 2023.
