AU has been named one of the top 100 universities in the world. Why do you want to attend Aarhus University? The university is dedicated to preparing students to tackle the problems and requirements of society. Aarhus is an excellent destination to study as well as to work. Here are just a few of the many reasons why you should work or study with us. Degree programs based on research of the highest international standard.

About the Scholarship:

Aarhus, located on Denmark’s eastern coast, is one of the happiest and youngest towns in Europe. Aarhus has a student population of 13% of its 315,000 citizens, making it Denmark’s unofficial “young capital.” The main reason that young people flock to Aarhus is that it is home to several of Denmark’s best universities.

Aarhus University is without a doubt the best university in the area. Aarhus University, with a current student body of over 44,500, many of whom are from abroad, is an excellent choice for international students looking to study in Denmark. Aarhus University, founded in 1928, is one of Denmark’s oldest and most prestigious universities. The university is well-known for its master’s programs in business, engineering, and sociology. The VIA University College is a relatively recent college with its headquarters in Aarhus. This college, which has two major campuses in Aarhus, attracts thousands of students interested in healthcare, technology, business, and design. VIA University College was formed in 2008 and now has six other campuses spread over the Central Denmark Region. The Aarhus School of Architecture and the Business Academy Aarhus are two more specialized schools in the centre of Aarhus. The Business Academy enrolls over 4,500 full-time students each year for advanced degrees in business management and technology, while the School of Architecture trains approximately 750 aspiring architects.  Aarhus is a superb destination to learn about Denmark’s part in the rich history of Scandinavia and Europe, in addition to providing world-class schools for international students to study in Denmark. Aarhus has received high marks from popular travel guides, and the city has been named the official European Capital of Culture for 2017. The Jelling Rune Stones, Marselisborg Palace, and the Moesgaard Museum are among the city’s prominent tourist attractions.

Another fantastic quality of Aarhus is its proximity to Denmark’s beautiful capital city, Copenhagen. With over 40,000 students enrolled at the University of Copenhagen alone, this city exudes a youthful and dynamic vibe. It’s only a three-hour rail or car ride from Aarhus to Copenhagen, albeit the most of that time will be spent on the ferry. Aarhus Institution, as a prominent international university, combines in-depth, cutting-edge research with interdisciplinary collaboration, and it places a significant emphasis on talent development and knowledge exchange with the business sector. We are determined at Aarhus University to attract the most bright students from all around the world. Thus, Talent Development is one of the university’s key operations, along with Education, Research, and Knowledge Exchange. Our goal is to build one of Europe’s most appealing international research settings, cultivating the greatest brains recruited from the worldwide talent pool by providing the best possible conditions for developing their specific qualities. Aarhus University provides 65 English-language bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, as well as all PhD programs. We have about 2500 doctorate and post-doctoral students, as well as about 2000 senior researchers, lecturers, and professors, providing for a very young and active research environment. The university and its four graduate schools endeavor to build an international community with great facilities that allow our foreign students and staff to meet fellow researchers in a unique setting. Aarhus is a lively, walkable city with a laid-back college-town vibe. Aarhus University, the city’s relatively new, contemporary university, has quickly established itself as a major public research university with international clout. It has established collaborative relationships with commercial and cultural sectors, as well as strong networks with colleges all over the world, in just a few decades. Aarhus University has been inviting exchange students for almost 50 years and is a safe haven for international students. Participate in social and cultural activities with both local and international students at the International Student House.

Paddle in the student association boat races, twirl like a Viking around the Midsummer bonfire, and fill your plate at the traditional Jutlandic cake feast in February. The academic city is jam-packed with historical sites, festivals, artwork, and quaint restaurants. The main campus, where you’ll be studying, is located on the Jutland peninsula, near clear sea beaches, magnificent woods, and lush parks.
