About the Scholarship:

In the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Carnegie Mellon Institution is a private, global research university. Eligibility for Scholarship

Candidates must meet all of the following requirements to be considered for CMU Australia Scholarships:

1. English is a required language.

2. All international students from Asia, South America, and Africa are eligible.

3. Meet the admission requirements for a full-time master’s degree in coursework at CMU Australia, which can be completed in 12 or 21 months.

4. Be accepted into a master’s degree program at CMU Australia, which will begin in August 20211.

5. Accept the offer letter from CMU Australia and pay the deposit by the deadline.

6. Students who are Australian or New Zealand citizens or who live in Australia or New Zealand on a permanent basis are not eligible.

7. Students who postpone their graduation will not be eligible for this scholarship.

8. This scholarship cannot be combined with any other CMU Australia or government scholarships, including but not limited to the Endeavour and Australian Awards scholarships.

9. Students must remain enrolled in full-time study throughout their course and adhere to CMU Australia’s academic progression policy.

10. If a student withdraws from the master program before completion, he/she may be required to repay the value of scholarship awarded.

Application Procedure

To apply for CMU Australia Scholarships, please follow the application steps below

(1) Choose your program from the drop-down menu.

If you’re applying for two distinct programs, you’ll need to submit two separate applications.

(2) Examine the program’s admissions requirements.

– All applicants must produce documentation of a regionally authorized institution’s completed undergraduate degree (bachelor’s degree or equivalent).

– Programming knowledge in an object-oriented programming language such as Java or C++ is required for all Information Technology programs.

– At least 3 years of professional job experience is required for all 12-month tracks.

– Professional work experience is not required for any of the 21-month programs.

– Valid test results from the GRE (General Test) or the GMAT from the previous five years must be submitted.

Students must have a minimum GRE score of 300 or a GMAT score of 600.

– Applicants who do not speak English as their first language must submit scores from the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) – Academic or the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) (TOEFL).

– A resume is needed of all applicants.

Please include a one- or two-page overview of your educational qualifications, achievements, work experience, and volunteer involvement.

– You must write a 1,000 word essay detailing your academic and professional experience, career aspirations, and how the program will assist you in achieving those goals.

– Two (2) letters of recommendation from employers, supervisors, instructors, or others who can comment on your professional and educational goals and potential.
