Scholarship details
Students who are seeking to earn a B.Sc degree in Environmental Health or Medical Laboratory Sciences should take in consideration the offered proposed by The American University of Beirut in conjunction with The MasterCard Foundation. The offers is available to undergraduate students studying a course in the Faculty of Health Sciences. This scholarship is primarily made to encourage applicants who are concerned about their environment and wish to participate by contributing positively to their environment. With this scholarship, they can be better equipped and be able to effectively contribute immensely to their environment.
Eligible Course of Study
As recipients of this scholarship, students are eligible to study the following courses at the American University of Beirut.
- Environmental Health
- Medical Laboratory Sciences

When students qualify for this scholarship, they are then entitled to the following benefits:
- Full Tuition fees will be paid throughout the period of their course duration.
- Their Living expenses will be taken care of.

Eligibility of Candidate
- Candidate must be nationals from Lebanon, displaced persons in Lebanon, or refugees living in Lebanon.
- Applicant must be Academically sound.
- Applicant must show the desire to give back to the community, and also possess leadership skills.
- Interested applicants must show that they are financially unable to sponsor their education without the help of this scholarship.

Students must fill out the application form and present it in person to the Office of Admissions, American University of Beirut.
