About the Scholarship:

The University of Queensland (UQ), which is considered to be the best university in all of Australia, is renowned for its innovative research and pedagogy. The University of Queensland (UQ) has three campuses in South East Queensland, all of which are located in the region. Both the St. Lucia and Herston campuses of the University of Queensland can be found in the city of Brisbane. The city of Brisbane is home to more than 2 million people. The city has a subtropical climate, which, along with a thriving cultural scene and a secure environment, makes it an attractive place to live. Scholarship Offer:

The scholarship fund for the 2021/22 academic year is € 63 000, which means that a total of 18 full scholarships (each lasting for ten months) can be given out.

 

 

Eligibility for Scholarship.

You’re eligible if you’re:

  • an international student who will be attending UQ on a full-time basis for the first semester of your studies and who will be enrolling in a program offered by the UQ Faculty of Science (minimum one year duration).
  • A complete list of programs that qualify can be found in the terms and conditions section that follows.
  • And you:
  • have met the conditions of your offer by the closing date of the scholarship (you are not required to accept your full offer by the deadline for the scholarship application) demonstrate strong academic performance in your previous studies.

We’ll consider:

    • your academic performance (based on the academic credentials you submitted in your UQ Faculty of Science program application).
    • your propensity to bring about change and make significant contributions to science (based on the personal statement you submitted in your scholarship application).

It was given a grant of £7.5 million by the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund of Innovate UK to develop a quantum computer that is capable of correcting its own flaws and applying the technology to high-impact problems in the aerospace industry. The University of Sussex scholarship proposes to illustrate essential operational concepts in collaboration with a variety of business partners by adapting an existing quantum computer prototype.
