For the academic year of 2022-2023 MPOWER Financing offers a scholarship to high potential students who will participate in the Special Series Scholarship intended for undergraduate and graduate students.

Scholarship Eligibility
The scholarship is open to all international students in the USA and Canada in an undergraduate or graduate degree in any of the chosen fields by the students. Students must follow all the criteria given here:
- The international students must be admitted to any university in USA or Canada that the corporation supports.
- Enrolled in a full-time degree.
- The international students must be permitted or have a visa to study in the USA or Canada
There are some notes that the students should take into consideration, for the international students who are currently studying in the USA, the applicants must meet the following criteria:
- The students must have DACA or be protected by Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.
- Holding a visa to study in the USA.
For international students who are currently studying in Canada
- must be holding a visa to study in Canada.
All international students must possess relevant marks to prove that they are deserving to receive the awards.
Keep in mind that the local students or citizens of Canada and the USA are not eligible to join the scholarship program. The scholarship is only intended for international students who are currently studying abroad.
Application Process
Students who want to start their application process can be filled out the online application portal provided by MPOWER Financing. The application form must be completed and be able to submit the following documents to support the application process:
- Copy of Visa
- Copy of Passport
- Transcript of records
- Essay
- Certificates
- Diplomas
All international students must have their visas stamped in their passports till the closing date of the application date of the scholarship.
Scholarship Selection Process
The scholarship selection process will be based on the essay that they will submit. The essay will be reviewed by the scholarship committee based on the following:
- The quality of the essay.
- How the students demonstrate on their essay the clarity of their thoughts, future goals, visions.
- English skills on how they write on the essay.
- The students think about their field courses and inspirations to further their education.
- Students who can see themself as an entrepreneur, good leaders, and or a scientist will make a positive impact on their careers.
Scholarship Awards
The scholarship will be amounting to up to $8,000 for the deserving twelve international students in the USA and Canada. The selected students will be notified four weeks after the deadline of the scholarship.
Receiving the Scholarship fund
After being selected for the Special Series International Scholarship offered by the MPOwer financing, the corporation will verify their eligibility, and if being selected all recipients of the awards will receive release forms for the scholarship funds that will be automatically sent to the student’s university or college.
In case that the winner failed to accept or refuses the release forms and cannot be verified the scholarship will not be eligible and the scholarship committee has the right to change the scholar. The list of winners for the scholarship can be tracked on the MPOWER website.
Scholarship Deadline
The deadline for the Special Series Scholarship for the academic year of 2022-2023 will be on the following dates:
- January 28, 2022
- February 25, 2022
- March 25, 2022
All application forms must be completed along with the documents required by the scholarship. Incomplete applications will be void and will not be considered for the scholarship. Students must read the terms and conditions of the scholarship.
