- Undergraduate students with intense financial need and Black Americans with incredible academic records are also welcome to apply.
- This scholarship is not available to graduate students; his goal is to encourage blacks in America to stay and finish their bachelor’s degrees.

The Herbert Lehman Education Fund Scholarship has elastic value when a person wins this scholarship; he/she has the possibility to receive the scholarship money for 4 years. The scholarship is worth $2,000 annually and $8,000 for 4 years.
Scholarship Requirements:
To successfully apply for this scholarship, you must meet the following requirements;

- Must be a U.S. citizen high school graduate, freshman at an accredited four-year university, or transfer student from an accredited four-year university Financial need
