The carsales Foundation is a charitable fund that was established by the online automobile business carsales.com Limited. Its purpose is to promote the education of the future generation in order to assist in addressing the disparities that still exist in the technology industry.

The purpose of the carsales Foundation Scholarship is to inspire and support female students who are interested in pursuing a career in the technology sector. A female student who has showed academic competence and a desire to pursue undergraduate studies in the field of computer science and information technology is eligible to receive this grant. The amount of the scholarship is $7,500.


About the Scholarship:

Swinburne University of Technology, formerly known as Eastern Suburbs Technical College, is a premier Australian institution of higher learning that provides programs of study in a variety of in-demand disciplines, including but not limited to aeronautics and astronautics, arts and design, architecture, law, and health. Historically, plumbing and mechanical education were among the first offered at this institution. The university’s academic program expanded in the decades following World War II.
