Scholarship details
International undergraduate students who want to further their higher education in the United Kingdom can now start their application for the International Undergraduate Architecture Scholarship for the entry session of 2022-2023. The University of Bradford opens the opportunity for graduating high-school students who will choose the architecture field as their future career goals.
Its motive was to reward the talented students with a tuition fee reduction that will help them with their financial barriers to undertaking their higher education in the United Kingdom. The scholarship will award the successful students a total amount of £7,500 to use for their tuition fees annually. The students who will be commencing in September 2022 will be offered the architectural courses and the benefits of not only the total amount reduction but also a cash bursary amounting to £2,000.

The University’s new Architectural Technology degree will bring together the thorough aspects of the design process, from concept to completion, to develop the key skills that the students need for a career in an exciting way and fast-growing concepts.
This training focuses on a dedicated design studio where the students will work on authentic design projects and develop a sound understanding of the design and construction process, particularly through Revit, BIM, Virtual Reality, architecture in a global context, project management, and construction contract, and procurements. The students will gain an understanding of the collaborative and multidisciplinary nature of the modern construction and management project industry by utilizing cutting-edge methods of technology.
BEng (Hons) Architectural Engineering
The university’s new degree in Architectural Engineering combines the art of design with building construction. This program aims to produce future engineers, capable of working in multidisciplinary teams for the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of our buildings using the latest technological tools and techniques.
The program includes the Conceiving-Designing-Implementing-Operating (CDIO) educational framework to educate the next generation of work-ready engineers. It provides a learning experience that highlights the technical foundations laid in the context of real-world CDIO products and systems.
Studying Engineering will allow the students as graduate engineers to stay communicated effectively and efficiently with the architect to ensure that the design will be functional. The students will gain a solid technical foundation in structural engineering and will appreciate and understand contemporary global architectural design. The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals are included throughout the program and put into practice in projects to achieve a resilient and sustainable environment.
Scholarship Eligibility
To be able to apply for the scholarship, the students must be able to meet the criteria of the program.
- An eligible international student who has the typical offer of 112 UCAS tariff points from the higher education diploma 3 in the field of Science and Engineering, Arts and Designs, Engineering Mathematics in minimum merits
- International Baccalaureate qualifications
- have good communication skills in English.
The students who will be awarded the scholarship are expected to be engaged fully at their studies and can demonstrate the course and submission of their work. Keep in mind that the university reserves the right to withdraw the awards and the students are required to repay the scholarship amounts deducted from their tuition fees.
Application Process
Keep in mind that there’s no need to apply for the scholarship awards, the scholarship will be automatically applied to the eligible students which means that the students who are self-funded will take their place on the course and will be awarded accordingly.

Scholarship Benefits
The University of Bradford will award the students generously with the following:
- The international students will receive a reduction fee amounting to up to £7,500 annually.
- The home students will have the benefits to receive a cash bursary amounting to £2,000 and will be paid on an installment basis by the month of November, March, and June.
Keep in mind that the students must be able to maintain their merit and must be able to progressed towards their courses.
