To encourage the Uk and International students for the academic year of 2022-2023, the University of Reading offers two scholarships intended for Master’s degree students that can show their potentials to achieve financial support by scholarship.

Centenary Scholarships
The Centenary Scholarship is one of the scholarships offered for international students to celebrate the 100 anniversary of the Royal Charter. The scholarship will be awarded to 100 international students with Master’s degrees in any courses offered by the university.
Subject Scholarships
The Subject Scholarship offered by the University of Reading is also intended for Master’s students in specific courses required by the university.

Number of Awards: The number of awards will be depending on the scholarship committee and for the category of the two scholarships for the Master’s degree students.
Scholarship Eligibility
All international and local students who will be admitted as Masters degree at the university are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Students must be able to be admitted at the university for their Master’s degree, all admitted students are automatically considered to apply for the scholarship programs.
Scholarship Entry Requirements
The students are required to check the subject offered for the scholarship as part of their entry requirements at the scholarship programs for the Master’s degree. The entry requirements may differ for each program for the international students.
The international students whose first language is not an English language have to submit and meet the required score of 7.0 IELTS. The students who don’t have the standard ability in the English language can apply for the Pre-session program in the English language at the university. The English program provided by the university will help support and equip every student to the preparations for their academic studies.
Application Process
The scholarship application process can be accessed through an online portal provided by the university. The online portal must be completed by the interested students and must submit the following documents to be attached to their application for the scholarship such as

Please keep in mind that upon submitting your transcript of records students must send it in a PDF form. The IELTS can be submitted after the completion of the application for the scholarship portal. In case that any document is not in an English language format, the students are advised to get a certified translation to convert into the English language.
Scholarship Application Fee
Please be reminded that the University of Reading doesn’t collect any fees on the application for the Master’s scholarship programs.
Scholarship Awards
The scholarship awards will be based on the student’s academic accomplishments. Amounting up to $5,000 that can be used to cover their tuition fee expenses.
Scholarship Deadlines
The deadline for the scholarship application will be based on the local and international students.
- UK students deadline is until August 1, 2022
- International Students deadline is until June 1, 2022
The scholarship application is now open and the interested students can start gathering the necessary documents and eligibility required by the university. The University of Reading offers annual scholarships, and Master’s students can be eligible to be considered for both scholarships as long as they meet the required criteria of the university.
Scholarship Application Progress
The students who already completed their application may be able to track their application progress in the university portal. Deserving students will be notified through their email. The scholarship committee is the ones doing the review on each application sent by the students. The portal provided by the university to access the progress on your application can also be used to get information on the programs, stories, and about the university.
After being notified of your email, the deserving students will be able to take the offer and steps on how to accept the scholarship.

Terms and Condition
