Scholarship to complete a master’s degree in Civil Liberties and Human Rights at the Southwestern Law School, Los Angeles, California, United States.

The Fulbright – José Siderman Scholarship for Argentines promotes the training of university graduates through master’s degrees or doctorates in the US Fulbright scholars are talented university graduates who value academic excellence and are able to stand out in demanding and competitive academic environments such as prestigious universities in the United States that they attend.

Translation, Art, Creative Writing, Business Administration (Labor Relations, Human Resources, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, Advertising, etc.), Pharmacy, Dentistry, Psychology, Medicine, and, in general, the medical sciences oriented to the treatment of human diseases are the courses ones can study with this scholarship program.

Master Scholars aspire to transform society and possess outstanding abilities to execute their ideas.

In the past decade, Fulbright has awarded more than 500 Master’s and Ph.D. scholarships to young graduates from all disciplines.

The applications of the applicants are evaluated in the first instance by specialists from each area and Commission staff. In accordance with the provisions of the Directory of the Fulbright Program in the United States (Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board), both the identity of the evaluators and the opinions issued by them are confidential. Those preselected are interviewed on a predetermined date and time by a Selection Committee that meets only once in Buenos Aires. 

The interview is mandatory for those who wish to continue in the selection process. During the interviews, the individual’s ability to communicate in English will be evaluated, among other requirements. Based on the recommendations of the Selection Committee.

The decisions of the Board of Directors are final. The Fulbright program regulations also establish that no information will be given to scholarship applicants or third parties about the specific reasons why they were or were not selected as finalists.

DURATION OF THE SCHOLARSHIP

Twelve months during the year 2023. Nine months of courses and three months of internship at the ACLU of Southern California, dedicated to strengthening civil liberties and human rights.

DISCLAIMER: The Fulbright Commission will support graduates in medical sciences who wish to pursue master’s degrees oriented to health administration (eg, Public Health).

Short stay scholarships for professors and researchers from Latin American universities.

The short-stay scholarships for professors and researchers from Latin American universities are part of the “Coimbra Group Scholarship Program for Young Professors and Researchers from Latin American Universities”, which was first launched in January 2004.

This initiative, which offers scholarships for financing short-term research visits, aims to promote mobility and academic exchange between the two. regions, Europe and Latin America.

The Coimbra Group is an association of 41 European universities that promotes exchanges between European and Latin American researchers and academics.

The fellowship applications for research visits is one of the ways in which exchanges are supported.
