Cafe Bustelo is pleased to announce that its scholarship is open to Hispanic students seeking funding to further their education.

In its fifth year, the Café Bustelo El Café del Futuro Scholarship has awarded $180,000 in college scholarships to 36 Latino students across the country.

According to its website, the Scholarship is awarded because “Café Bustelo® aims to invest in the Latino community by awarding scholarships to those seeking a better future for themselves, their families, and their communities.

They seek motivated college students with a passion for community involvement and furthering their education.”

How to Apply for the Cafe Bustelo Scholarship 2022

The application process for this scholarship may have elements such as essays that can take a couple of hours.

Write an essay of 800 words or less on the following topic:

“Describe how your Latino heritage, your family, and the community you grew up in have impacted your desire and motivation to pursue a college degree.

Also, describe what you intend to accomplish with your title and how you will give back to your community.

When does the El Bustero scholarship application deadline expire?

The All Apps portal opens on February 24 and closes on July 6, 2022 , at 11:59 PM Central Time.

  • Essays and supporting documents will be evaluated by a panel of qualified judges and points will be awarded based on the criteria listed in the official rules.
  • The applicants with the highest score will be deemed winners. The winners will be announced to the public around September 1st.
