The University of Tasmania wants to provide a scholarship opportunity for international students to help them with their financial assistance to further their higher education in Australia for the academic year of 2022-2023.
The Dean of Sciences and Engineering Merit Scholarships will be awarded to the high achieving international students who can demonstrate their academic achievements and be one of the students who will motivate other students and undertake their first year in an undergraduate degree that will cover 50% of their tuition fees.

Scholarship Eligibility
To be able to apply for the scholarship, the interested students must meet the following:
- The international students must have an offer of a place to study in the eligible engineering or science field when commencing the first year of an undergraduate degree.
- The scholarship is available to students who can demonstrate their academic merit and meet the minimum academic requirements of the university.
- Must be an international student.
- The students who apply for the advanced standing or academic credit are also encouraged to apply.
On-going Eligibility
The scholarship can be maintained by achieving the required GPA of 5.0 or 7.0 cumulative grade point average every year of study at the University of Tasmania.
