The University of Zaragoza has many scholarships that offer each academic year. Multiple and various scholarships are given out to both domestic and international students who are looking to attend the university but for a discount. This university is a public research institution where international students can apply to earn a higher education degree with. Originally the institution was established in 1542 and essentially the original land dates back to the Roman era. This is Spain’s oldest higher education university.

Eligibility
- International students or non-citizens of Spain can apply.
- If students are facing financial difficulty, this is the scholarship for them to apply to.
- Students must apply and be working towards their Bachelor’s degree.
- Students must sign up for registering payment fees, to pay at least the portion they can pay for their tuition up front.
- This scholarship is requested as a send through the post, type of application. While the application can be filled out online, it must be printed and rescanned after being signed: The document will be sent through to submissions using the Electronic Headquarters of the University of Zaragoza.
Requirements
There are a number of requirements for students who are interested in pursuing this scholarship. For instance, students need to have their student visa ready to phot scan and send in the copy to the university.
A photocopy of the financial or banking statement that shows enough to pay for at least 50% of the tuition for the 2024 academic year.
If the applicant is staying off campus, they must prove the photo scans of a renter’s approved piece of paper, which indicates where the student is staying and that the accommodation has already been paid for.
Students must have their acceptance letter to photo copy.
It is stated that students should send in their proof of aid (receipt and award) so the provisional discount can be immediately applied. All applicants that end up becoming recipients must contact the secretary of the university center and send them this proof.
How to Apply
All applicants that are interested in this scholarship must first fill out the application online, save it, and print it. Why? Because this scholarship application requires a physical signature after the student has printed out the application form.
If the official application form is not sent in, then the student will be ignored when it comes time for the panel of judges to pick which students receive the grant/scholarship.
Any bachelor degree programs are able to apply. History does tend to be more favorable for students who win this scholarship.

For this tuition aid, students can receive up to 50% off of the first two years duration of their college courses. Which means students must be pursuing an undergraduate degree that is leading to a Bachelor’s degree.
Students can receive more grant aid if they go through the University of Zaragoza’s student program.
Deadline Time Line
The official deadline date for this specific scholarship is February 28, 2023. There is no possible extension for this deadline date if a student wishes to try and send their application in on a later date.
All applicants should take note of what they must send in on time and before the date above passes. There are many ways to organize all of the documents needed to send in. First students should receive an acceptance letter first, and then follow that up with securing a student visa for the selected duration of their program studies.
