Scholarship details
The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship is indeed gifted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to help both international and domestic French students to achieve the highest degree they are currently working on.
This scholarship has a 50% deductible off from the total annual tuition cost. Which will help many students who may be in a financial pinch since some French universities can easily be around $50,000 per year.
Students interested in the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship should understand that this is an academic based opportunity. Meaning students will need to show the best of their grades and grade point average along with successful projects or published material to be considered for this option.
Eligibility
- Master’s level subject fields that are applicable to apply include economics and management, law and political sciences, engineering sciences, mathematics, and digital studies, biology and health, and ecological transition.
- Essentially students will need to be taking a science-based subject course and pursuing this as a degree in order to qualify for this scholarship.
- Programs are in French and international students should have an excellent grasp of the French language.
- Requesting the scholarship application by email is the necessary route to take to receive the correct form.
Requirements
There are two-degree levels that can apply for this scholarship. Only students that are working on their Master’s or Doctorate degrees, can apply for this opportunity. Undergraduates are deemed not eligible.
For Doctorate level students, they must be taking one of these programs in order to be deemed eligible:
- mathematics
- physics
- chemistry
- life sciences
- nano- and biotechnologies
- sciences of the earth
- universe and environment
- computer and communication technology sciences
Students will need to show that they have excelled within their Master’s or Doctorate year that shows great academic skill and excellence promotional value of the subject field itself. Luckily enough, a few students will be picked for this scholarship and they will receive the full reward as stated.
How to Apply
First off, the only way to apply is by receiving a Bachelor’s degree in a science related field or a Master’s in a science related field. From there students will need to send an email to either the ‘Master’s scholarship or the Doctorate scholarship’ emails (there are two separate emails for each) to ensure that the student receives the right scholarship form.
Students will need to fill out everything correctly in the application form. Afterwards, the student should follow the guidelines that states when the deadline time line is, which is from November 17th (master’s level) to November 20th (doctorate level).
Reward – Extra Benefits
The total reward benefit is that students can receive 50% off of a total year’s worth of tuition. This would be accredited to the students college bank account and the student would be able to see how much left would be available to pay on tuition if anything at all.
Nevertheless, students could possible use the remaining scholarship amount (if the student has paid off their tuition already) towards extra fees that have not been paid in full as of yet.
Deadline Time Line
November 17, 2022 is the official deadline date for when all of the correct and needed paperwork can be sent in. Afterwards, if a student sends in everything after November 17, 2022 they will be deemed dismissed or not applicable for this scholarship option.
This deadline date does refer for the 2023 academic class who is pursuing a Master’s degree.
For Doctorate level students they have a separate deadline date which is November 20, 2022. The same rules apply if a student sends in their work and form after the initial deadline date.
Open Submission Window Time Frame
The open submission window time frame is available right now. That means students can currently submit their necessary and accurate work and papers to show that they are indeed qualified for this scholarship.
However, students should specify that they are either a Master’s or Doctorate level student to receive the right scholarship application.
Annual or Renewable Scholarship Options
This is an annual scholarship. This is a renewable scholarship if a master’s level student happens to win and can continue with this scholarship into their doctorate year. However, if a doctorate students wins this option then they cannot renew this opportunity after they have graduated.
