Back in 2019, Bold.org ended up creating a scholarship platform base that could be accessed by any student who had access to a computer and the internet. Essentially this website acts as a full donation connection site to scholarships that may not receive as mush recognition anywhere else. Through Bold.org companies, non-profit organizations, organizations, schools, and more can help set-up a scholarship to present a certain amount to students that need the financial backing.

These provides a whole new range of opportunities to individuals that are considered highly academic and in need of financial subsidy if they have not received it through a different scholarship. This platform acts as both a merit and financial based selection service. For students, what this allows is a scholarship flow service where they can browse and find the exact matches they should apply to and potentially receive the award.

What Bold.org brings out differently on the internet is that it has curated a simplicity within it’s server. Allowing students to build a scholar personal profile to express their own details and what their story may be. Students can fill in all matters, like skills, interests, ambitions, and career path dedication. Afterward all students will be able to search through the vast array of scholarships available that are estimated from $250 – $40,000 in rewards. This has become a great spot for students to apply to several scholarships and earning enough money to pay off complete tuition.

Bold.org has been able to create a  simple yet full proof profile system which is called a “common profile.” So students can fill it out and immediately start applying for scholarships as soon as they want to.

Bold.org is an exciting new entrant in the scholarship space. They offer a great user experience and have lots of unique scholarships on their site. While some of these scholarships are more general “easy” and “no essay” scholarships, Bold.org also features more specific awards for students with different career interests, demographic backgrounds, and other experiences.

So yes, Bold.org is a great resource in any scholarship search, but at the end of the day, a very small percent of scholarships are offered on the site. That’s why using other scholarship resources and applying for need-based financial aid through the FAFSA is important.

Now the foundation that has funded this extraordinary opportunity is Straive. Straive is a digital company that happens to focus their abilities on market lending within Content Technology Enterprise, Research and Education Services. Straive have also funded a few other scholarships on Bold.org that would be of high interest for students to look at and they can do so by clicking on the company name that is attached to the foundation donor section on the website.

Requirements

The biggest and mot important requirement is that the student who do apply must be applying with an education background and a career path that will lead students to become educators.

This scholarship was created in honor of Marva Collins who led a revolutionary life of encouragement and with a compassion heart for education. It was incredibly important to her that education could be accessible for all students whether or not they could attend in-person, it was a main goal to help students to receive an education even if they had to have a home-schooled based education.

With her fantastic journey as a teacher, she founded the Westside Preparatory School which is located in Chicago, Illinois. Where students that had been cast aside as problematic where able to go under her wing and her style of teaching allowed these children to excel in life.
