Scholarship Eligibility

The “All About Education” Scholarship Program is a competition only for legal residents of the fifty US states and the District of Columbia.

Scholarship Application Procedures

When you submit an application, you acknowledge and agree that:

Sponsor will own your Request and your written response.
As between you and Sponsor, Sponsor will own all rights to posting in and to the Application and submitting the written response.
Accordingly, each Applicant irrevocably grants, transfers, sells, assigns and conveys to Sponsor, its successor and assigns all present and future right, title and interest of every kind and nature, including (without limitation) all copyrights and all the incidental, ancillary, subsidiary or allied rights to it, including all derivative rights in and to the Application and the submission of a written response for its exploitation throughout the universe.

Interested applicants must submit a completed scholarship application online through the sponsor’s website www.unigo.com/ourscholarships no later than April 30, 2019.
The application is one per person.
Applicants must include name and contact information, academic details, and background information.
You must also submit an original, unpublished, written response on the scholarship topic “How will a $3,000 scholarship for education make a difference in your life?” (250 words)
The written response must be written in the English language and with correct grammar.
Once the original Application has been submitted, replacement of corrected pages or new drafts will not be accepted.
Written response that is defamatory, obscene, or pornographic will be disqualified.
Each application becomes the property of the sponsor and therefore will not be returned. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, or unintelligible Application.

By submitting an Application, this implies that you fully and unconditionally accept and agree to these Listed Official Rules and the decisions of the

Sponsor that are always final and binding.

Note: No purchase is necessary to apply. A purchase, however, cannot increase your chances of winning the scholarship.

SELECTION OF POTENTIAL WINNERS

REPRESENTATION AND WARRANTIES / INDEMNIFICATION

Each person who enters this program represents and guarantees to sponsor as follows:

the filing of the written response is entirely original with the Applicant and, as of the date of filing, is not subject to any actual or threatened litigation or claim;
the submission of the written response does not infringe or violate the intellectual property rights of any other entity;
the Request, including the submission of the written response, is of the Requester’s own origin, previously unpublished and previously unproductive work,
Filing the written response does not and will not violate any applicable law and meets the filing requirements set forth above.

Each Applicant hereby indemnifies and Sponsor is harmless from and against any claim, action or proceeding of 3rd party in any way and also, from any and all liabilities, damages, expenses and costs related to or arising from any alleged breach of any warranties, representations or agreements.

NO OBLIGATION TO USE

Sponsor shall not expressly or impliedly use a Winning Application or exploit a Winning Application or otherwise continue the development, production, distribution thereof.

The Sponsor may, at any time, use the winning application for any reason, whether legally justified or not, and the scholarship prize winner shall not be entitled to any damages or other relief for the reason thereof. .

CONFLICT RESOLUTION

By simply entering, Applicant agrees that all issues and questions relating to the validity, construction, interpretation, and enforcement of these Official Rules, or the obligations and rights of entrant and Sponsor, shall be governed by and construed solely in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of any jurisdiction or law.

An Applicant agrees that any action in equity or at law arising out of this scholarship program or award of prizes shall be brought only in the state or federal courts located in the State of Oregon.

Therefore, Applicant consents and submits to the personal jurisdiction of said courts for the purpose of litigating any such action.

Except where prohibited, the Applicant agrees that any and all claims or actions of disputes arising out of or related to the scholarship program will be resolved individually, without recourse to any form of action.

Any claim and judgment will be limited to the actual out-of-pocket cost. This, however, includes the costs associated with participation in the scholarship.

Under no circumstances will any participant be allowed to obtain prizes. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages.
