The University of Queensland Offers Ph.D. Scholarship in Computational Modeling Approach to Understanding Shooting Architecture, including Branching and Flowering. This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year 2022-2023, for successful international students.

Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement in the field of mathematical and computational principles for modeling and the potential for academic success.

Applicants must have a background or knowledge of plants, or other biology is highly desirable.

To apply, students must initiate their Ph.D. applications online at the university portal. To apply for the scholarship, you must follow the steps below: Select “My higher degree is not collaborative”; Select “I am applying for or have received a scholarship or sponsorship”; Select “Other”, then “Research Project Grant” and enter “SHOOT-BEVERIDGE” in the “Grant Name” field.

Students must submit the following documents: Academic transcripts; Certificate of degree; Academic CV; Passport; Letter of recommendation/referral and proof of citizenship.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from an approved university with at least an IIA honors class or equivalent or a master’s degree in research or a master’s degree with an overall grade point average of 5.65 on the UQ 7-point scale or a graduate degree (in at least one year full-time or equivalent) with an overall grade point average of 5 on the UQ 7-point scale or a bachelor’s degree plus at least two years of relevant research experience, including research publications.
