The Santander Studies scholarships | Undergraduate Argentina students are part of a program organized by Banco Santander Río SA, aimed at students from Argentine universities participating in the program whose purpose is to grant scholarships to facilitate access, permanence, and/or completion of undergraduate studies. the degree to student sectors with economic needs and high academic performance.

Among the students who enroll (the “STUDENTS”), the BANK will grant 1000 – (one thousand) SCHOLARSHIPS to facilitate access, permanence, and/or completion of undergraduate studies to student sectors with economic needs and high academic performance.
NOTIFICATION OF THE CHARACTER OF THE SCHOLARSHIP HOLDER
The UNIVERSITIES will notify the SCHOLARSHIPS who were selected through the platform www.beca-santander.com and will report the granting of the SCHOLARSHIP. In turn, they must inform the Bank of a contact box to make available to the SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS, in case they want to make inquiries about their payment.
ASSIGNMENT
The SCHOLARSHIP is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for any other type of benefit.
ACCREDITATION
The UNIVERSITY will be in charge of arranging the respective payments to the selected SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT in the accounts opened by the latter at Banco Santander Río SA or of discounting the amount of the SCHOLARSHIP from the final price of the SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT’s fees.
In the event that they opt for the first option, accreditation by the UNIVERSITY must be carried out within 30 working days after acceptance of the SCHOLARSHIP by the SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT on the Becas Santander platform.
The BANK will not be responsible and the UNIVERSITY undertakes to keep it harmless for any claim that may arise from the accreditation of the SCHOLARSHIP to the SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS. Likewise, the BANK will not grant any record that accredits the payment of the SCHOLARSHIP.
BOOKINGS
The BANK reserves the right to assign a lower number of SCHOLARSHIPS than those already declared, in the event that the profiles of the STUDENTS who participate do not meet the exclusive criteria of the UNIVERSITIES. Likewise, the BANK reserves the right to prohibit participation in the PROGRAM as well as not to award the SCHOLARSHIP to those STUDENTS who try to undermine the PROGRAM through cheating, fraud, deceit, or any other unfair practice aimed at being designated, SCHOLARSHIP HOLDERS. illegitimately, annoy, insult, threaten or harass other participants, without prejudice to the right to claim damages incurred as a result of said proceeding.

What benefits do the Santander Studies Scholarships offer to Argentine undergraduate students?
The BANK will make the corresponding contributions to the UNIVERSITIES so that each of them finances the SCHOLARSHIPS to be received by the SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS in accordance with this program. For this purpose, the BANK will deposit the total amount of the SCHOLARSHIP in the corresponding UNIVERSITY account, so that the SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT pays the necessary expenses for the fulfillment, permanence, and/or completion of the degree studies.
The value of each SCHOLARSHIP amounts to forty thousand pesos ($40,000) so that the SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT pays the necessary expenses for the fulfillment, permanence, and/or completion of the degree studies.
Likewise, the UNIVERSITY will be in charge of assigning the value of the SCHOLARSHIP to the SCHOLARSHIP HOLDER. Said allocation, at the exclusive discretion of the UNIVERSITY, may be made by accrediting the SCHOLARSHIP in a savings account or university Super Account that the SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT must open at the BANK or by making a discount for the value of the SCHOLARSHIP on the price of the tariff expenses agreed between the university and the SCHOLARSHIP HOLDERS.
The way in which the UNIVERSITY decides to make the delivery of the SCHOLARSHIP effective will be informed by the UNIVERSITY to the SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT at the same time that they notify their selection.
