About the Scholarship:

Boise State Institution, often known as BSU, is a public university that was established in the year 1932 in the state of Idaho, United States of America, by individuals who were affiliated with the Episcopal Church. The college, which was once known as the Boise Junior College, declared its independence from the church in 1934 and moved to its current location on the banks of the Boise River that same year. Since 1965, students at the university have been able to earn both bachelor’s and master’s degrees. In 1974, the university was granted university status, at which point it became Idaho’s third state university. Since then, Boise State University has expanded to become one of the major educational institutions of its kind in the state of Idaho, located in the United States. There is a vibrant international community on BSU’s campus, and the university makes every effort to encourage applications from students studying in other countries.

Today, BSU provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across almost 200 fields of study. These programs are distributed across seven colleges, including Arts and Sciences, Business and Economics, Education, Engineering, Graduate Studies, Health Sciences, and Social Sciences and Public Affairs. Nursing and psychology are two of the most popular majors for undergraduates, while educational technology and business administration are two of the most popular majors for graduates.

The university campus spans along the southern bank of the Boise River and covers a total area of 175 acres. It is characterized by tree-lined pathways and contains more than 170 different academic buildings. In addition to the academic, administrative, and residential facilities, there is also the enormous Albertsons Library as well as eateries, a bookshop, an art gallery, and restaurants that are specifically for students. The university also owns the Taco Bell stadium, which often hosts concerts by well-known bands in front of crowds numbering in the thousands. Another space on campus dedicated to the arts, the Morrison Center can accommodate more than 2,000 guests at a time.
