Prospective PhD students with outstanding academic success and research potential are invited to apply for three Brett PhD Student Fellowships in Entrepreneurship in the 2022/23 academic year (start date 1st October 2022).
PhD Student Fellowships in Entrepreneurship at Brett
The newly founded Brett Centre for Entrepreneurship at the University of Liverpool is seeking submissions for up to three fully-funded PhD studentships. The entrepreneurial research field is thriving, and we are particularly interested in applications in three primary areas: ‘location,’ ‘people,’ and ‘performance.’ We are not unduly prescriptive in terms of specific projects or approaches because we want to hire innovative and brilliant students who can contribute to the growth of the Brett Centre and its exciting new surroundings. Proposals may, however, strive to employ existing notions within these areas, such as eco-systems, social inclusion, and innovation, or may seek to draw on relevant topics outside the entrepreneurial domain to aid in the development of theory and practice. Successful candidates will receive a £15,609* annual stipend, as well as a fee waiver covering four years of full-time stipend and tuition fees. Overseas students will pay home tuition (a possible top-up payment may be provided for International candidates, subject to availability); the maintenance grant will be the same for both Overseas and Home students.
