The Westminster Vice-Scholarships, Chancellor’s the University’s highest honor, are designed to fully fund a student from a poor nation to pursue a full-time Undergraduate degree at Westminster.

 

About the Scholarship:
The University of Westminster was founded in 1838 as the Royal Polytechnic Institute. It is one of the country’s oldest educational institutions.
The university received a Royal character and was named University of Westminster in 1992. The current Chancellor is Lady Frances Sorrell and Vice-chancellor Dr Peter Bonfield OBE. Its main campus is located in Regent Street in Central London. It has three other campuses located in Fitzrovia, Harrow and Marylebone. It is a member of various associations like the Association of Commonwealth Universities, Association of MBAs, EQUIS, EFMD, Universities UK and European University Association.

The University of Westminster is divided into three colleges, twelve schools and 65 departments & research centres. There are 180 undergraduate courses, 231 graduate courses, and 99 professional and short courses at the institution, with full-time, part-time, and open/distance learning options. Awards, contracts, and research grants totaled £22 million for the university.

Sir George Cayley, the father of aeronautical engineering, Charles Algernon Parsons, the engineer and designer of the steam turbine, and BBC presenter Tom Ang are among the university’s prominent faculty members. There are 1750 rooms at the university hostels, which are divided into six halls of residence. If students are unable to locate a place to live in a hostel, the university can assist them in finding private housing. All residences are connected to the university by the university’s transportation system. Scholarship Offer:

Up to a maximum of three years, £5,000 per year for maintenance costs or tuition fees.

 

Eligibility for Scholarship
Candidates must meet all of the following requirements to be considered for the Westminster Vice-Scholarship: Chancellor’s
1. English is the only language that is required.
2. Countries Eligible: International students from developing countries are eligible.
3. You must have a full-time undergraduate degree offer from the University of Westminster for September 2021.
4. According to the Student Loans Company, you must have a household income of £25,000 or less.
5. If you already have an Honors degree, you are not eligible to apply.

Application Procedure

(2) In addition to completing the appropriate Scholarship application form, you must submit the following supporting documentation:

– A copy of the University of Westminster letter/email confirming your conditional or unconditional offer of a place on your desired programme.
– A copy of your official transcript from your most recent/current academic study.
– A letter of recommendation produced expressly for your scholarship application. This reference must be written by a previous tutor, professor, academic, or employer (where applicable to your chosen degree course) and cannot be the same reference provided as part of your admissions application.
