This is a combination scholarship between the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) and Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno. The Beijing Institute of Technology is offering two different types of scholarships to Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno students.

Anyone interested must be attending Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno beforehand. This is a strict scholarship that is about the union and combined effort to bring Belarus students to Beijing to further their studies. Also, the Beijing Institute of Technology has scholarship options available to their students if they wish to study in Belarus.

Available academic programs at the Beijing Institute of Technology include:

  • Software Engineering
  • Aeronautics & Space Science and Technology

  • Electronics Science and Technology
  • Information and Communication Engineering

Available academic programs at the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno includes:

  • Physics and Engineering

This is not a compete list of both universities and all of the tech programs they have available. If you’re a student looking to attend either of these higher education institutions be sure to go to their home pages and look through the academic sections to see what you would like to pursue as a career.

Eligibility

  • Students attending Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno who are interested in studying for at least 2 or 4 years at the Beijing Institute of Technology would be eligible fit for this scholarship.
  • Students will be able to choose if they wish to study in English or Chinese.
  • Students must be willing to go to another country to continue their higher education.
  • It is not stated that students must have be a Belarus citizen however, this may be the case.

  • Any student that has a previous criminal background will not be eligible for this opportunity.

Requirements

Current students in Belarus must be studying technology based programs before transferring to Beijing. Students will need to transfer as an exchange student to the Beijing Institute of Technology.

How to Apply

The best away to apply is that the student is already attending Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno in Belarus. And that student is studying technology and wishes to instead become an exchange student to study in Beijing.

Reward – Extra Benefits

This is a full-coverage scholarship which means these sections will be covered:

  • tuition fee
  • accommodation
  • comprehensive medical insurance
  • monthly living allowance (CNY 3,000 for masters and CNY 3,500 for Ph.D. students)

However, international airfare tickets are not covered by this scholarship. Students would have to buy their own airline tickets.

Student Visa

A student visa would need to be acquired to a Belarus student who intends to study in Beijing. The university would be able to help out the student in this situation.

Chinese language programs will be offered to the new student if they would prefer to learn Chinese during their stay. Language programs are free in this case and it would be beneficial to the student to learn a new language in a new country.

Deadline Time Line

There is no official deadline for this scholarship option. Instead students will be given an exam to see if they would be a good fit. However, students can also ask the admissions office at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno to be given the option to become an exchange student.

Open Submission Window Time Frame

The open submissions window time frame is currently open. There are only 3 CSC (China Scholarship Council) Scholarship (students must want to pursue a Master’s degree or a Ph.D.) and 5 BIT Exchange Scholarship (this gives the option if a student wants to spend 2 semesters or 4 years in Beijing).

Annual or Renewable Scholarship Options

This has become an annual scholarship that was picked back up in 2022. This is a self renewing scholarship since a student can choose to study for 2 or 4-years at BIT. Each student that is awarded one of these two scholarships will receive all the needed information they should need. However, if there are any questions students can contact the email address that is provided in the contact section.

Here at Pick a Scholarship we offer a full range of scholarship databases for all students looking for varying degree levels. While we provide exact information for each scholarship application and when the deadlines/open submission windows are held. We offer a contact section on each post where the admissions of the university or the director of a private sponsor can be reached to give more information or details.

All applicants should consult the contact webpage that is in the contact section of this page if a question has not been answered. Beforehand check the university’s FAQs page to see if anything can be answered right away.
