The Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the National University of Singapore (NUS), the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), and the Singapore Management University have collaborated to create the Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) (SMU).
PhD training will take place in English at A*STAR Research Institutes, NTU, NUS, SUTD, or SMU in the lab of your choice. In these labs, students will be supervised by eminent and internationally recognized researchers. Students will receive a PhD degree from NTU, NUS, SUTD, or SMU if they complete the program successfully. Singapore serves as a gateway to some of the region’s fastest-growing economies. About the Scholarship:
The National Institution of Singapore is Asia’s top and world-leading comprehensive research university, with a global concentration on Asian contexts in its education and research programs. The university provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs in a variety of subjects ranging from science to music. - S$2,000 monthly stipend, which will be enhanced to S$2,500 after the Qualifying Examination is passed.

A valid passport is required, as well as a recent passport-sized photo (in .jpeg or .png format)

If your bachelor’s degree certificate(s) / scroll(s) has not yet been conferred, a letter of certification from the university on your candidature is required.
2 reports with recommendations (to be completed and submitted online by the referees).
GRE, IELTS, TOEFL, SAT I & II, and GATE scores. However, you should be aware that the university may need you to provide satisfactory scores as part of the university admissions process.
