International Students can apply for the University of Tampa International Grant for Freshmen, USA 2022-23. The scholarship covers Undergraduate level programs at The University of Tampa in the field of All Subjects. The scholarship has an open deadline.

To all qualifying undergraduate freshman and transfer international students with superior GPA, SAT and TOEFL scores, UT offers partial academic scholarships. Incoming freshmen can receive up to $12,000 in scholarships per academic year, while transfer students can receive up to $7,000 in scholarships, based on their academic achievement.

 

About the Scholarship:

In 1931, Tampa Junior College became the University of Tampa. In 1933, it was given the name University of Tampa. The university building was originally known as the Tampa Bay Hotel, which had 5 stories and 511 rooms and was constructed between 1888 and 1891.

It is now a cutting-edge campus complete with laboratories, administrative offices, and classrooms. It offers almost 200 programs, including 16 master’s degrees, one PhD, two certificates, ten specializations, and three four-year programs. College of Arts and Letters, Sykes College of Business, College of Natural and Health Sciences, and College of Social Sciences, Mathematics, and Education are the university’s four colleges.

 

The main university campus, located on Kennedy Blvd in Tampa, Florida, fosters a dynamic learning experience. On campus, there are 11 modern residence halls and 28 dining options, as well as around 300 student groups, clubs, and teams. Softball, football, soccer, basketball, and ultimate Frisbee are among the sports that students can participate in, as well as a variety of off-campus activities. It raised more than $14 million in 2018-19, with an annual economic effect of $1.1 billion. The University of Tampa offers over 400 events each year, and 5,000 internships and 25,000 employment openings are posted to the HIRE-UT portal each year.

Nonremedial tutoring, placement services, health services, and health insurance are among the student services provided by the University of Tampa. The University of Tampa also provides 24-hour foot and vehicle patrols, late-night transport/escort service, 24-hour emergency telephones, lighted pathways/sidewalks, student patrols, and controlled dormitory access as part of its campus safety and security services (key, security card, etc.).
