To help International students achieve their higher education in the United Kingdom, the University of Salford Manchester offers the Health Heroes Scholarship for the academic year of 2022-2023. The scholarship is intended for International students who want to pursue their undergraduate or graduate degree in Nursing Program.
The international students who will be commencing their Nursing and Midwifery program at the university will be receiving a tuition fee reduction with a total value of up to £14,400. To support the international students in their educational journey, the university started the scholarship to create more health heroes that can help the community and in their home country.

About the Course Program
The course program offered for the scholarship is for the interested international students wh are suitable for heal and social care students and practitioners. The course will have a wide range of relevant clinical focus and students are expected to broaden their skills and knowledge to expand thier clinicla practice.
The scholarship will be offered to the international students who wish to be admitted to the course to lessen their tuition fees and be more focused on the program. The additional cost of the program is not covered by the scholarship, students are advised to have additional funds for other related fees during their studies at the university which may include the books, travel expenses, visits, and other.

Eligibility
Before proceeding with the application process, interested students must meet the eligibility requirements of the scholarship.
- Must be an international students
- Must have good communication skills in oral and written English
- Undertaking undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Nursing and midwifery program.
- Must be able to study full-time and on-campus for the whole duration of the program.
- As new students at the University of Salford, students must be first-time applicants.
- An international paying fees students and charges the regular tuition fee for international students for the whole duration of the program.
- The international students must not be sponsored or funded by another scholarship program.
Application Process
To be enlisted in the scholarship program, the international students must take the admission process of the university for undergraduate or postgraduate degrees. Keep in mind that there will be no separate applications for the scholarship.
The students will be assessed once applied to the chosen degree program, if you have been considered for the scholarship awards, the enlisted students must accept the offer of admission and pay the tuition fee for the program in order to receive the scholarship funds.

Language Requirements
All subjects will be thought in an English language, and the international students whose first language is not the English language are required to have good communication skills in reading, writing and oral English.
Important Note
- Keep in mind that the scholarship awards will not be available to the part-time students, online distance learning or blended learning, or where the study is being delivered through an overseas partner, the scholarship is only intended for the students who can be admitted full-time at the university and on-campus.
- The scholarship will not accept students who are currently receiving any other scholarship funds from the university or the government, late and incomplete applications will not be considered, however, the applicants can still re-apply for the next scholarship opening applications. The students who submitted a piece of wrong or false information about their application will be automatically rejected or canceled.
- All interested students are required to read the terms and conditions applied to the scholarship, the early payment discount will be applied automatically to the international students who will be admitted to the elegible courses offered by the University of Salford Manchester.
- The international students must give consent to the university of using their photos or videos related to the scholarship awards, using the written materials submitted at the university in relation to the scholarship program, and must be able to volunteer in any other events or community activities at the university.
- All decisions from the administration office will be final.
Scholarship Deadline
The deadline to complete and submit the application is until May 20, 2022. The Health Heroes Scholarship will be offered annually.
Scholarship Award
The University of Salford will be providing a total amount of £12,000 for the successful international students to help them cover their tuition fee expenses.
