The Royal Agricultural University offers students an incredible rich history since this university is deemed the first in the English-speaking world to be the first agricultural college. Established in 1845 and located in Gloucestershire, United Kingdom. The Royal Agricultural University has two massive farms available as work-study sites. These two farms are called: Coates Manor Farm and Fossehill Farm. These farms have available pasture land and associated exercise facilities, along with the sport polo.
There is a total amount of 1223 acres of land for students to visit, learn from, and explore as part of their research and studies.
Also the university’s library has over 40,000 printed books, along with thousands of journalist based inquires and essays. Eligibility
- Only three countries are eligible to allow their students to apply for this scholarship, those countries are: India, Nepal, and Turkey.
- This is considered a specific international scholarship.
- Applicants must already be considered a postgraduate student.
- Students from either India, Nepal, or Turkey must also have an non-expired passport from one of the three locations.
- Both male and female students can apply.
- Applicants must be a full-time postgraduate students. These full-time students must be on-campus, not online.
- Primary students that plan on studying at the university’s MSc Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security program is essential.
- Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree that works within the subject field mentioned above.
- Applicants should have prior experience or volunteer work that related to agriculture.
Requirements
A big requirement installed is that applicants must be academically excellent, and deemed so by the British Council and the UK Government who are offering the extended funding for this opportunity.
It is an essential need that all applicants must be either enrolled or ready to enroll for the Royal Agricultural University’s MSc Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security program.

The best way to apply for this scholarship is online. There are two official stages to this scholarship application:
- Students must turn in a statement of purpose – no less than 1 page and it should not exceed 3 pages)
- A personal statement that exemplifies the reasonings as to why that particular student wishes to pursue this program

Reward – Extra Benefits
The three recipients will receive 10,000 euros or an approximate $10,424 USD.
This amount is distributed to cover tuition fees or to waiver tuition fees. As far as it is stated, this reward amount is solely for tuition fees and not for textbooks, room and board, or daily to monthly allowance.
If a student decides to defer or take a gap a year while working under this scholarship. There is a probable outcome that the student may have to pay back a percentage if they do not follow the rules that the scholarship states.
Deadline Time Line
The official deadline time is stated as June 12, 2022. This is the last time for the 2022 year for students to submit their scholarship application, students can submit their applications before this date. However, if a student sends in an application after the deadline their application will not be accepted and will be rejected.

Annual and Renewable Scholarship Options
This is an annual scholarship that has a duration of a full academic year. This means that the amount awarded will be given throughout the duration of the academic year. This scholarship is in fact not renewable, this means if a student has applied and successfully become a recipient of this scholarship, cannot apply again.
