Project Description

The project research aims to investigate the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare management. With the growth potential of artificial intelligence technology, there is a significant opportunity for healthcare management to improve its efficiency, effectiveness, and efficiency. For example, the current state of affairs is related to AI-assisted analysis and modeling helping to reconstruct the course of an outbreak, predict transmission routes, trace contacts, and determine the impact of various public health control measures.

On the other hand, the use of AI raises concerns among the public, industry, and regulators. The issue of trust and transparency in data-driven and automated decision support remains to be consistently measured and validated for fairness and efficiency. Similarly, anecdotal comments imply low consumer adoption and high levels of opposition to AI-led decisions in the healthcare sector by its key stakeholders, such as doctors and nurses. Scholarship Provider: Southern Cross University

About the Provider

Southern Cross University was founded in 1994, one of the youngest universities in the world.

Their staff is driven by excellence and a desire to continuously improve the quality of their teaching and research. They are a university with high collegiality and performance. Deeply rooted in its regional community, Southern Cross demonstrates that world-class research, teaching, and learning thrive outside the capital city center. They create and apply knowledge in partnership with the community in areas that are regionally and globally relevant.
They are a world-class university, but the biggest measure of our success is the careers they have supported among the 66,000 graduates who go out into the world with confidence.
In addition, they also offer a range of inclusive programs through SCU College and maintain strong links with the local community and scholarships through the Gnibi College of Indigenous Australian Peoples. Southern Cross’ strong online learning delivery across a wide range of disciplines reaches students from across Australia.
Like many of the best universities in the world, being a smaller institution benefits them, which is reflected not only in the student experience they offer but also in our impact on research. In the latest Research Excellence Report for Australia, Southern Cross achieved outstanding “World Standard” scores or better in 23 research areas. Across 14 research areas, the university is rated with the highest rating of “well above world standards”.
