Reward – Extra Benefits

First off this award is only rewarded in the Fall and Winter semesters for students that have entered the scholarship application.

Students will be awarded a complete $1,000 USD amount that will go towards their tuition or second semester.

This scholarship when awarded can not be transferred and used at a different higher education institution.

This amount does go strictly to paying off tuition fees or excess fees that may be presented. If tuition and fees are completely paid off, this can go towards resources like laptop or computer equipment that may need to be bought.

Deadline Time Line

Since there is a renewable option, this means that with the awards being given in the Fall and Winter semesters. Students can expect the deadline time lines being in the Spring and Summer semesters. Each deadline may be different based on the programs that student is currently working through. However, students should instead sign up for a university account to access the academic calendar to have the exact different deadline dates available.

Open Submission Window Time Frame

The open submission window time frames are when students can reapply in the Fall and Winter semesters the year before. So students can apply in the Spring and Summer 2023 semesters to be awarded in the Fall and Winter 2023 session. This means that their can be a full year round open submission window time frame, however, students should consulate with the financial aid office since they will monitor the student’s progress.

The financial aid office will be in contact with the individuals awarded with this scholarship option. Also this means the office will keep an eye if anyone’s grade point average or academic grades starts to decline.

Annual or Renewable Scholarship Options

This is an annual scholarship that can be renewed for a second year in a row. However, student have to make sure their grade point average stays above a 2.7 in the 4.0 grading scale. If that drops below a 3.7 grade point average, the student is not deemed eligible for a second year, and can possibly be deemed ineligible for their current awarded year.
