Scholarship Eligibility
Before proceeding with the application, the students must meet the eligibility of the scholarship.
- Be active and admitted to a program with Federation University Australia
- Encountering critical monetary difficulty that is, or has the potential, to influence program cooperation and movement.
- Have the option to give, by means of transfer, proof to help with monetary difficulty and additional conditions.
- Haven’t received any FedSuccess Hardship Support Scholarship from the year of application.
- University Australia in Semester 2 2022 is not qualified for this Award until after Semester 2 statistics date: 31st August 2022.
Application Process
To apply for the FedSuccess Hardship Grant, interested students must make an appointment to discuss their financial circumstances at the Grant Office of Federation University.
To be able to make an appointment, the students must book an online appointment with the official page of the university. Keep in mind that the application can only be submitted with an appointment with the Grants Officer.
Evidence Requirements
The required evidence will be discussed at the appointment with the Grant Officer. Below are the types of evidence needed for the application:
- Banks Statements must be for the past 2 months that demonstrate the financial hardship of the students.
- Financial hardship evidence examples are overdue bills, expenses, illness, loss of employment, injury, and fines.
- Application statement that explains the financial hardship that impacts the program progression and participation.
Keep in mind that an incomplete application without the required evidence above will not be considered for scholarship evaluation.
Language Requirements
International students must have good communication skills in oral and written English, and must be able to submit the following English Language Proficiency Test:
- IELTS score of 7.5
- TOEFL iBT score of 106
- PTE score of 73
- CAE score of 191
Scholarship Award
The Federation University will provide financial assistance to the successful students amounting to up to $1,000 annually, the beneficiary of the award must maintain the scholarship criteria to be able to maintain the scholarship award.

Scholarship Deadline for Application
The deadline to complete and submit the application is until December 12, 2022. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered for the scholarship award.
