  • Khalifa University Teaching Assistant  Scholarships – Masters and Ph.D. Scholarships for International Students Studying at Khalifa University in the United Arab Emirates. Funding is offered in exchange for teaching assistant tasks during your studies.
  • Masdar Institute IRENA Scholarship Program  – Postgraduate Scholarships to study in the UAE at the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology (MI). Funded by IRENA, the International Renewable Energy Agency.
  • UAE University Graduate Grants – Masters and Ph.D. Scholarships for International Students at  United Arab Emirates University  Who are involved in teaching, research, or administrative tasks during their stay.

Other scholarships to study in the Middle East.

  • ICGEB Research Grants for Member States  – The International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) awards grants for students to undertake research projects in basic sciences, human healthcare, industrial and agricultural biotechnology, and bioenergy. You can study in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, or any of the other  ICGEB member states, as long as you are a student from one of these countries.
  • MasterCard Foundation Scholarship Program at AUB  – Undergraduate and graduate scholarships to study at the American University of Beirut (AUB) in Lebanon. The Graduate Scholarships are open to refugees, Lebanese citizens, and Sub-Saharan African nationals.
  • Muscat University Entrance  Scholarships – Scholarships for Omani and International students to study an undergraduate or postgraduate program at Muscat University in Oman.
  • Qatar University  Scholarships – Undergraduate scholarships for international students to study at Qatar University for a bachelor’s program.
  • TUMS Scholarships in Iran  – International Scholarships to study at all levels at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) in Iran.

Swedish Institute for Global Professionals (SISGP) Scholarships

Scholarship Description:

This is a new Swedish Institute (SI) scholarship program and replaces the Swedish Institute Study Scholarships (SISS). SISGP offers a large number of scholarships for Master’s programs starting in the fall 2023 semester.

Host Universities/Institutions: Swedish Universities and Swedish Higher Education Institutions.

Number of scholarships: 300 scholarships over the budget will be available.

Target group: Students from the following countries:

Bangladesh; Bolivia; Nigeria; Brazil; Cambodia; Colombia; Ecuador; Ethiopia; Gambia; Egypt; Guatemala; Honduras; Cameroon; Ghana; etc.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for SISGP, the applicant must have had a minimum of 3,000 hours of work experience before February 3, 2023. It could be from three organizations/companies at most.

The applicant must have the ability to demonstrate prior leadership experience. This can be demonstrated through previous work experience or participation in civil society organizations.

Applicants must be responsible for paying tuition fees to universities. Have made the application fee payment for Master’s programs in University Admissions on time and have gained admission to one of the eligible Master’s programs by 4 April 2023.

#2. Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships (AES) | Scholarships for information technology students

Application deadline: Jan 15 / Feb 1 annually.

Short description:

AES awards scholarships to students who have exceptional talent outside of Europe. The scholarship enables them to pursue eligible Master’s programs offered at the University of Amsterdam.

Host Institution: The University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

Level/Field(s) of study:

Eligible Masters Program taught in English and offered in the following faculties:

Communication, Economics and Business, Early Childhood Development and Education, Humanities, Law, Psychology, Science, Social Sciences.

Scholarship value/inclusions/duration:

This is a full scholarship of €25,000 (to cover tuition and living expenses) for one academic year. The program offers the possibility of an extension for a second year for two-year master’s programs.

Eligibility:

Non-EU students from any discipline who graduated in the top 10% of their class are eligible to apply. Selection is based on academic excellence, ambition, and the relevance of the selected Master’s program to a student’s future career.

#3. WMF training through educational scholarships for students from developing countries

Application deadline: April 1 annually.

Short description:

The Wells Mountain Foundation, through the Empowerment through Education (ETE) program, awards scholarships to national students from developing countries to study in a neighboring country or in their country of origin.

The Foundation believes in the power and importance of serving the community. Therefore, fellows will volunteer a minimum of 100 hours per year.

Host Institution: The applicants’ choice of an institution in their home country or in another developing country

Level/Field(s) of study:

Bachelor’s degree in any field of study, however, there is encouragement for applications from those interested in pursuing degrees that will best serve their local communities. Titles that will help in the development of your community, medicine and health sciences, law, education, social work, business, engineering, agriculture, and information technology.

Target group: Citizens of developing countries.

Eligibility:

The ideal WMF candidate is a student, male or female, from a country in the developing world, who:

  • High school was completed successfully, with good grades.
  • You will be studying in another country in the developing world or in your country.
  • You plan to reside and work in your own country after graduation.
  • You have volunteered prior to applying for this scholarship and/or are willing to volunteer while receiving the WMF scholarship.
  • You may have other funds available for your education, but you won’t be able to go to school without a scholarship.

#4. Utrecht Excellence Scholarships for International Students | Scholarships for information technology students

Application deadline: February 1 annually.

Short description:

This scholarship offers the opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree in a selected number of fields at the University of Utrecht. This scholarship is available to a number of outstanding prospective students.

Host Institution: the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands

Level/field of study:

International Master’s programs that are eligible and offered by the University.

Number of awards: There are 20-25 scholarships available with an approximate grade.

Target group: EEA/non-EU international students.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must:

  • Be part of the top 10% of your graduating class.
  • Be in possession of an EEA/Non-EU passport and not be eligible for aid under the Dutch scholarship and study loan system.

#5. Uppsala IPK Scholarships for International Students | Scholarships for information technology students

Application deadline: 1 Feb annually.

Short description:

There are many Uppsala University Scholarships for fee-paying students applying for Masters programs starting in Autumn 2023. Uppsala IPK Scholarships is one such scholarship programme.

Host Institution: Uppsala University in Sweden

Fields of study: The Master Program is offered during the current admission round and the start date is September 2, 2023.

Target group: Citizens of countries outside the EEA / EU and Switzerland.

Scholarship Value/Inclusions: This scholarship does not cover living expenses. Just the cost of registration.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Citizens of a country outside of Switzerland and the EU/EEA.
  • Academic talent must be demonstrated by applicants and must show interest in belonging to an educational environment.
  • An IPK scholarship can only be awarded to students for their first priority program at Uppsala University.
  • Applicants for the program to which they applied must meet the entry requirements, and the application fee and supporting documents must have been received before the university admissions deadline.

#6. Commonwealth Masters Scholarships for Developing Commonwealth Countries

Application deadline: 19 Dec annually.

Short description:

This scholarship is for citizens of developing Commonwealth countries. The UK Department for International Development (DFID) funds these scholarships.

Level and field(s) of study: Master’s Program.

Number of scholarships: No specification.

Target group: Citizens of an eligible Commonwealth country or those who have been granted refugee status.

Eligibility:

To apply for these scholarships, the applicant must:

  • Be a citizen or have received refugee status as a grant from an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a protected person of Great Britain.
  • Reside permanently in an eligible Commonwealth country.
  • Be available for the start of your academic studies in the UK before the start of the UK academic year in September/October 2023.
  • By October 2023, have a first degree of a minimum of upper second class honors (2:1). A standard or second class degree, and a postgraduate degree that is relevant (usually a master’s degree).

#7. VU Amsterdam Scholarship Program for International Students

Short description:

This scholarship makes the unique opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam available to prospective international students.

Eligibility:

#8. Chalmers IPOET Scholarships for International Students | Scholarships for information technology students

Short description:                                                    

This scholarship is funded by the Swedish Council for Higher Education and is awarded to paying prospective students. Chalmers will offer around 50 IPOETs in 2023.

Level/Field(s) of study: There are no restrictions as all current Master’s programs at Chalmers are fields of study.

Eligibility:

The relative academic excellence of applicants is the basis of selection. And this mainly includes the weighted average rating. It also includes the stature of the home university (including a position in world ranking lists) and the order of application priority for Chalmers’ master’s programmes.

#9. Radboud Scholarship Program for International Students

Application Deadline: March 1 of each year.

Short description:

This scholarship program offers a selected number of potentially talented non-EEA students the opportunity to receive a scholarship to pursue a full English-taught Master’s program at Radboud University.

Host Institution: Radboud University in the Netherlands

Level/Field(s) of study: Eligible Master’s program taught in English. It is offered by the College of Arts, Social Sciences, Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies, Law, Science, and Medical Sciences.

  1. Be in possession of a non-EU/EEA passport

#10. ENS International Selection Scholarships | Scholarships for information technology students

Application deadline date: Oct 19 / Oct 31 annually.

Short description:

Annually, the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) organizes an international selection that allows the most promising international students, either in Sciences or in Arts and Humanities, to pursue a Master’s and Diploma at the University.

Host institution: École Normale Supérieure in Paris, France.

A number of scholarships: 10 for Science students and 10 for Arts and Humanities students.

Target group: International students.

Scholarship value/duration:

The value available for this scholarship is a monthly grant of 1,000 euros for three years. Also a room in one of the ENS campuses.

Eligibility:

  • Candidates must be below 26 at the time of application
  • No application is required prior to the International Selection of applicants.
  • Candidates must not have resided in France for more than 10 months during the academic year of selection (September 1 – August 31) or the previous year.
  • Candidates must justify a minimum of one year of undergraduate studies awarded by a foreign university during the calendar year prior to the start of applications.
  • Candidates must justify a minimum of two years of undergraduate studies at a foreign university, on September 1 following admission.

Exceptionally, authorization may come from the Director of ENS for the application of a candidate whose academic training outside of France is not standard.

#11ETH Zurich Excellence Masters Scholarships 2023

Excellent students who want to pursue a Master’s degree at ETH with two scholarship programs: the Master’s Scholarship Program (MSP) and the Excellence Scholarship and Opportunity Program (ESOP) are supported by ETH Zurich.

edX as a learning platform provides an opportunity to take free online courses offered by leading universities around the world for students from any country. The certificate of completion can be issued to learners online after completion of the course.

There are around 60+ Universities that are participating which include Harvard University, the University of California at Berkeley, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), McGill University, etc.

Eligibility:

Everyone can access EdX courses. All it takes is access to a computer with a current browser, an Internet connection, and of course, a desire to learn.

Short description:

These scholarships are fully funded awards and are intended for students from developing countries who wish to study a full-time Master’s degree at the University.

This scholarship is available to foreign citizens who have an interest in studying a specialization. Master’s or doctorate, conducting undergraduate or postdoctoral research or participating in an undergraduate or postgraduate academic mobility program, to participate in the 2023 Mexican Government Scholarship Program for International Students.

Scholarships are not awarded for a direct doctorate. programs (combined master’s and doctoral programs), open or online education, and distance learning programs.

This scholarship is jointly administered by the International Students House (ISH) and London Metropolitan University. The scholarships are awarded to outstanding students from selected countries who wish to pursue a Master’s degree at the University and will receive this scholarship.

#twenty. MENA Scholarship Program (MSP) for Professionals from the Middle East and North Africa

Short description:

This Scholarship Program (or MSP) offers scholarships to professionals from ten countries. The scholarships can be used for short courses in the Netherlands with a duration ranging from two to twelve weeks. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands finances this program.

Host Institution: Dutch academic institutions and universities.

Objective group:

The target group is professionals (with a minimum age of 45 years) who are nationals and work in one of these countries: Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Lebanon, Libya, Oman, and Syria.

Eligibility:

An applicant must be nominated by employers to justify their application in a letter of support. For the short course, the applicant must also meet the eligibility requirements that he applies for.
