The Swedish government then passed a law setting out tuition and registration costs for students from non-EU/EEA countries, to be supplemented by Swedish Scholarship Programs. The Swedish Institute for International Professionals (SISGP) Scholarships are aimed at highly qualified students from some countries and are awarded for full-time Master’s studies in Sweden. It covers tuition fees, cost of living, and insurance.
The Visby Program Scholarships
The Visby program offers several comprehensive scholarships for Master’s programs in Sweden to students from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, and Ukraine. The scholarship covers tuition fees, living expenses of SEK 9,000 per month, insurance, and a one-time travel grant of SEK 5,000.

Borås University Tuition Waivers
Borås University offers tuition waivers to highly qualified students who are required to pay tuition fees and apply for elective Master’s programs at the University. The scholarships are intended to cover tuition fees of around 75%, they are not designed to cover living expenses.
IPOET Chalmers Scholarships
IPOET Scholarships are open to citizens of non-EU/EEA countries who are required to pay tuition fees and who are applying for the Master’s programs offered at Chalmers University. The scholarships represent a 75% reduction in tuition fees.
Gothenburg University Scholarships
The University of Göteborg Scholarship is intended for candidates who are required to pay tuition fees for their Master’s studies at the University. The scholarship covers tuition costs for the student’s study program.
Halmstad University Scholarships
Each year, Halmstad University offers a number of scholarships to qualified students from the EU/EEA and Switzerland who are required to pay tuition fees. These scholarships are intended for master’s degree programs in any field of study offered at the University. The Karolinska Institute offers a handful of scholarships to excellent students who have been admitted to one of our Global Master programs each fall semester. The scholarship covers only tuition fees, not living expenses, and only studies at the master’s level.
Kristianstad University Scholarships
The scholarship will be awarded to citizens of a country outside of the EU/EEA who are required to pay the tuition costs of their studies at Kristianstad University. If a scholarship is awarded, it will include a full or partial reduction of tuition fees.
KTH Royal Institute of Technology Tuition Waivers
There will be a limited number of tuition waivers available to citizens of non-EU/EEA/EFTA countries who are required to pay tuition fees and who have applied for a Master’s program at KTH. If a scholarship is awarded, tuition fees will be waived for the entire duration of the program.

The Linnaeus University Scholarships are intended for students from countries outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland who have applied for a degree program at Linnaeus University. Each year, Mälardalen University offers a limited number of scholarships to students from countries outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland who are required to pay tuition fees and who apply for a Master’s program at the University as their first choice. The scholarship will cover 100% of the program’s tuition fees, provided you follow the normal course of study. The scholarship does not cover living expenses.
Malmö University Scholarship
The Malmö University Master’s Scholarship (MUMS) is intended for highly talented students who are citizens of countries outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland and who are admitted to an English-language Master’s program at Malmö University. The scholarship covers all tuition fees.
Middle Sweden University Tuition Scholarships
All students who have applied for a Master’s program at Mid Sweden University and who are required to pay tuition fees are invited to apply for a scholarship to enroll at this university. The scholarship is a reduction of 70,000 SEK or 250,000 SEK depending on the chosen program.
Örebro University Scholarship Program
The Örebro University Scholarship Program is intended for the best university students from countries outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland who are required to pay the tuition costs of their studies. The scholarship covers full or partial tuition, but not living expenses. Read more

The Stockholm University Scholarship Program is aimed at highly qualified students admitted to Master’s programs in countries outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland who are required to pay tuition fees. Stockholm University Scholarships only cover tuition fees, which means that students will have to pay their own expenses.
