What It Is
The Path to Perseverance Scholarship is an annual award of \$2,500 for undergraduate or graduate students in the United States who have been diagnosed with a disability and have shown resilience in overcoming personal challenges.
Eligibility Requirements
To apply, you must:
- Be a U.S. citizen or have legal authorization to study in the U.S.
- Be enrolled in or accepted to an accredited college or university.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Provide documentation confirming your diagnosed disability.
Essay Requirement
Applicants must submit a 500–1,000 word essay describing:
- A specific challenge faced due to their disability.
- How it impacted their life or studies.
- The steps taken to overcome it.
- The lessons learned and how those experiences shaped their personal growth.
The essay should be submitted as a PDF and include a header with:
- Full name
- Student ID number
- Scholarship name
- Institution details and financial aid office contact information
Other Required Materials
- Academic transcript (unofficial is acceptable)
- Documentation of disability
- Completed application form through the scholarship’s official page
Deadline
- The application deadline is November 15, 2025.
- Submissions received after this date will not be considered.
- Winners are usually announced within three months after the deadline.
