Melbourne’s varied climate is a result of the city’s location on a long peninsula that extends into the ocean. Melbourne enjoys a mild environment because of its position between the dry interior and the temperate waters of the Southern Ocean. After being outside for some time, you may be hit by a powerful cold front. It will become more apparent during the course of spring and summer. Extremely low temperatures, hail, violent thunderstorms, and high winds are all possible as these fronts move across the country. They might also trigger a global freeze and unending rain. In comparison to other mainland Australian state capitals, Melbourne’s wintertime temperatures are typically 20°C to 30°C cooler. Even though snow is unusual, temperatures as low as -2.8 degrees Celsius have been recorded. In contrast to other cities, Melbourne nearly never gets snow in the winter. You should buy a warm Canadian-made coat next autumn instead of a jacket.
