KSH 33,000,000 Netflix 2022 Creative Equity Scholarship Fund In Kenya

Netflix, the world’s leading streaming entertainment service, has committed US$1 million to establishing a Creative Equity Scholarship Fund (CESF) in Sub-Saharan Africa. The CESF will assist African creatives in obtaining a high-quality tertiary education in film and television-related disciplines at prestigious academic programs/institutions. This is part of Netflix’s continuous efforts to invest in Africa’s creative industries and to ensure that African stories are told by more varied and fresh voices.

Netflix has appointed Tshikululu Social Investments as the implementing partner/fund administrator for the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region, with the duty of successfully executing the project in Southern Africa.
