£20000 University of East Anglia 2022 Global Voices Scholarship Program for African Students

Students from Africa who have applied to the School of Literature, Drama, and Creative Writing’s MA in Creative Writing Prose, Biography and Creative Nonfiction (Scriptwriting), or Poetry (Poetry) may be eligible for this funding. At this point, we’re in our first year of the International Chair for Creative Writing and Global Voices Scholarship Program. To be eligible for this prize, you must be a citizen or have been born in an African country and have applied to the School of Literature, Drama, and Creative Writing for a seat on one of the MA creative writing programs: prose, biography/creative nonfiction, scriptwriting or poetry. The prizes are granted to deserving applicants who have demonstrated both a strong ability for creative writing and a pressing financial need.
