From the past years, young researchers for about 150 students from different countries joined in UNESCO/IUPAC Courses and contributed to some scientific projects. The Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry offers a Postgraduate Course Scholarship with the provision of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, UNESCO and IUPAC.
The goal of the grant is to conduct research at the synthesis of polymers and new polymer materials, polymer physics, and the physical chemistry of polymers.
This platform is open to young researchers who gained an MSc or a Ph.D. degree in the corresponding field of science and the MSc degree studies were accomplished 10 years or less prior to the Course, good command of English is a necessity since the official language of the Course is English.
Opens for all international students and scholarship can be taken in the Czech Republic.
The benefits of this scholarship include monthly scholarship funds worth up to 450$ US Dollar, and the access to use the facility IMC laboratories in the BIOCEV building and IMC building in Prague 6. A free accommodation at the Academy Hotel Mazanka. The university also reimburses the payment for the visa made by the participants.
