Goals of the student grant
The aim of the Foundation is to assist students from the region in the pursuit of their studies in the field of leisure, recreation, physical education, physical activity, kinanthropology or any other field. Attaching to it.
To ensure a succession in the region in the field of leisure; students receiving a scholarship must first return to work in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.
Student Grant Funding
The Foundation receives donations, legacies and other cash contributions; it organizes one or more fundraising campaigns, always with the aim of raising money in order to accumulate a substantial fund to redistribute interest in the form of grants.
Eligibility requirements
The candidate must be a permanent resident of Abitibi-Témiscamingue.
A candidate is considered permanent resident if he meets the following conditions:
He is considered resident with his parents whose family residence is located in the region (Abitibi-Témiscamingue) or, if he has a permanent address there.
He has lived in this region for the past five years.
- The candidate must be registered full-time at a recognized educational institution.
- The candidate must be registered and study in the field of leisure, recreation, physical education, physical activity, kinanthropology or any other affiliated field.
Selection criteria
- Ability to pursue studies in the chosen field
- Candidate’s past and present academic performance
- The candidate’s attitude
- Financial requirements related to the study program
- The possibility and the desire to return to the region
- The possibility of opening positions, versus the saturation of the fields of practice.
